Martinez Dental Solutions

I've been going to Dr. Martinez's Office for about 5 years. In my opinion, Dr. Martinez is an excellent dentist. However, maybe the staff need more preparation. I had a treatment plan with a price which was provided for me on July 11th 2025. I scheduled my appointment for today, July 23rd, 2025. When I arrived, the receptionist asked me to pay a different price, which was more than double what was quoted originally. She showed me an "updated quote" from July 22nd 2025. It is a dishonest and unacceptable practice. They wasted my time and money. I had to take time off at work and also drive to Dr. Martinez Office.

My #1 dentist 🦷… if you need (a dentist) that takes care of you (even @ 2 am) this is the one for you… the staff are wonderful and friendly and Dr. Martinez is so caring (and I’m not just saying it because he’s my dr) and thoughtful… most important, he listens to you. So, call and make a appointment and see for your self.

I met Dr. Jose Martinez and his wonderful staff for the first time on November 12, 2020. I was highly impressed with the ease of making an appointment and not having to wait for endless weeks or months before being seen. Upon my arrival for my visit, I was greeted with a warm and friendly response followed by an exceptional and thorough examination. I feel so fortunate to have met the brilliant doctor. My concerns were taken seriously, followed by a clear and concise plan of care. Doctor Martinez is a highly skilled doctor who listens to his patients with compassion and is able to address any and all of their concerns. His office is clean, well organized and functions like a well oiled machine. Since then I've had another visit for additional work and I continue to be impressed with each visit. His staff is polite, professional and very knowledgeable. The treatment and care I receive does not compare to any other office I have been to in my lifetime! I am most grateful to Dr. Martinez and his staff for the impeccable quality of care and service I receive. Thank you so very much for all you do for myself and for many others. Dr. Martinez and his staff are highly skilled and caring. My wife, son and I have been going to Dr. Martinez for more than 15 years. In that time, Dr. Martinez dug into our issues, listened to our concerns, and provided solutions that kept us healthy and pain free. His practice is focused on professional results and compassionate treatment. We moved to Tallahassee in 2020 and have just decided to go back to his practice because we trust that he has our best interests in mind. We do not mind the drive. It is worth it.

I’ve been going to this dentist for three years. The dentist himself is great with trying to help me fix issues from previous Dentist. However, I feel like every single time I go in I have cavities and work that needs to be done on teeth that I have already had work done prior to this dentist or don’t even have pain. However, his staff often runs late with cleaning and short Follow up appointments. On previous appointments, I have waited in the waiting room for over 45 minutes just to have sensitivity added onto my teeth which is less than a 15 minute appointment. What has led me to write my review is the scheduling and lack of availability as this a has been an issue many times for me. I called because I had conflicts with the scheduling and asked if there was other scheduling options and the earliest date they had is September. I asked to keep my date in July and put on the waitlist, however I was canceled and rescheduled to September, which is what I did not want. I called numerous times in the afternoon. No one answered, and I left a voicemail. I called the following morning and they had already given my original July appointment to someone else and did not take any responsibility or did not receive any apology as they kept saying I confirmed placing blame on me. The front office staff is never working in a timely manner by making me wait numerous times after appointments as well to close out/ finish paying. After being patient with them after numerous occasions, I have decided to move forward with a different dentist because I am very disappointed by my treatment for the past three years.
