Sage Dental of Jacksonville Marietta

My service was good. But I have been going to this office for years and I am disappointed in the cleanliness on the recent visit. The carpet is dirty and cardboard boxes sitting out in the main walkway. The waiting area was about 80 degrees so you could barely breathe and then in the back it was cool, so by the time I left I had a horrible headache from the temperature difference. When I mentioned how ridiculously hot it was she acknowledged and just said they did not know why it was. I feel the office appearance and cleanliness is suffering since the company change. With the amount of money it costs for dental care I want to feel like the office is clean.

I used to really like this dental office when it was Marietta Dental, but unfortunately my experience has gone downhill since it changed to Sage Dental. In the past, most of my visits were largely covered by insurance. Anything that was no covered, and was considered extra was verbally discussed with me so that I had the opportunity to elect whether I wanted to proceed with the optional service. Now, it feels like every appointment comes with a long list of extra charges — many of which were never discussed with me ahead of time. One example was a charge for “oral hygiene instruction.” I’m honestly not sure what was so special about that instruction that even my insurance wouldn’t cover it entirely, leaving me to cover the cost. And one charge was for nutritional counseling, which there was no discussion of nutrition, so I am fairly certain my insurance was scammed by Sage to get that payment. Most of the people that I knew there have gone - The office manager, the dentist, my hygienist....all gone. I guess that should have been a clue that I might want to research a new dentist. The lack of transparency has made me uncomfortable, and it now feels more like a money grab than patient care. Because of this, I won’t be returning and will be looking for a dentist who is more upfront, honest, and trustworthy about costs.

Genuinely an amazing staff. I was nervous for a tooth extraction but everyone there was so sweet and calming. They got it done super quick and with absolutely minimal discomfort. I would definitely recommend

From start to finish, my experience exceeded expectations. There was no wait—I was called back right on time for my 9:30am appointment. Q, the dental assistant, was outstanding. She respected my time, patiently walked me through my treatment plan, clarified my insurance benefits, and broke down out-of-pocket costs with care. I had a lot of questions (and repeated a few), but she never lost her composure or professionalism. The office is spotless, and every team member was warm and welcoming—from the kind receptionist to the hygienist, Sam, and the incredibly knowledgeable Dr. Nabood. If you have dental anxiety like I do, you'll appreciate how Dr. Nabood puts you completely at ease—without judgment, no matter your dental history. I left feeling informed, respected, and surprisingly excited to return for my deep cleaning next week. Highly recommend!

Crowns crowns root canal crowns. I would like to think I have dencent insurance lord knows I pay enough for it. If you go in thinking your going to get a filling and some work done? think again. I walked in there for one, and then walked out with them wanting 10,000+ dollars that's right not doll hairs but dollars. What is going on with this? An what is the Healthcare system coming to. very sad and very disappointed. If anyone is thinking maybe about going to theses corporate dentest mills. I would suggest looking for a more loving and compassionate dentists that have a mom and pop shop where they actually really care about you and is willing to make a payment plan, an not a corporation looking to drain your insurance on your first visit. Stay smart and stay healthy.
