The office staff is very friendly! They were helpful as I signed up for their health club program. Janessa did a great job with explaining and walking me through the cleaning, she was also effective but gentle which was a nice experience. Dr. Carpenter was kind & professional and informative during the dental examination. Overall great experience & would recommend the practice as a whole.

I can't speak highly enough about my experience at Ortega Dental! From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice that the office is modern, clean, and welcoming. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my cleaning and subsequent procedure. Dr. Flores, a Navy veteran, is thorough, skilled, and personable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch care. Best dentist I've ever been to!

Dr. Flores and his staff I have been great so far. At my initial consultation, they did a thorough examination to see where things were at and provided a realistic assessment based off of that. No pressure to immediately address old fillings or other potential concerns that weren't actually pressing issues. When I had a tooth chip, they were able to fit me in their busy schedule to evaluate and correct it without too long of a wait. There are a lot of dentists in Jacksonville, but I don't mind going out of my way for care at Ortega Dental.

I truly wish this had been the very first dental office we visited after moving here. The difference is night and day. The previous office told me I had several 6or 7 mm periodontal pockets, which left me extremely anxious, especially after spending over $3,000 on periodontal surgery last year. I even started doubting whether my periodontist had done the surgery properly. Then I came to this office, and everything changed. The hygienist took her time, checked thoroughly and repeatedly, and reassured me that all my pockets were actually only 2 or 3 mm. I honestly cannot describe the relief I felt. It made me realize that all the effort I put into caring for my teeth at home was truly worthwhile. Every single person here—from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctor is exceptionally professional, kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They don’t rush you, they explain everything clearly, and they make you feel valued as a patient. This is the kind of dental office that restores your trust in dental care. I’m beyond grateful to have found such an honest, skilled, and compassionate team. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would.
