I had a wonderful experience at milk+honey at The Loren. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel completely at ease. Check-in was smooth and effortless, and the parking validation made everything even more convenient. My massage therapist was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to understand what I needed and ensuring I was comfortable throughout the entire session. The environment itself is beautiful and deeply relaxing, with thoughtful details that make it easy to unwind. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and very well taken care of. I will absolutely be back.

I had been going there for a few years and was satisfied for the most part. They then changed their pricing and would need to pay at least 50 dollars more a month to get the same exact services. I made a call to see if they could work out anything and seemed like the lady over the phone didn’t know much so I asked for a Manager to call me. They never did. I was the one that was following up. I then decided that I’m just gonna go ahead and cancel the membership, but I still had plenty of money to use in my piggy bank so made an appt to go in. I was very disheartened by the way the establishment looked. It definitely needed attention. If you are going to raise prices make sure you’re on top of your game!! I have always used when possible Ian for my massages and he does great work and Rayna for my facials and she is amazing. Alex and Mahogany are very pleasant and professional as well! but I had suspicion that something is going on because of the way the building looked and some of the communication with dealings. It was evident there was a Mgmt turnover and not a good one. Here are some photos to show you. The picture of the restroom is the light not working. When I let the front desk aware, the answer I got was the cleaning crew hasn’t showed up instead of let’s take care of it! I don’t think it’s difficult to change the trash, it’s just a bag removal.

Very disappointed in my experience. I have been going to other Milk & Honey locations for a few years and have always had a good experience. This one must be understaffed or perhaps because it's in a hotel they do more massages and facials than anything. I had my brows waxed and a brow/lash tint. It didn't come out (parts were still blonde/patchy). The wax was also not well done - hairs missed and edges not tidied up. After they handed me the mirror and I pointed these out and let them know I wanted it fixed, the technician said she didn't have time because she had another client. (Why would you schedule me if you couldn't do the service properly?) I talked with the manager who said they could fit me in 3 hours later to fix. Obviously I'm not sitting around for three hours because of their mistake. I asked if I could go to another location to get it fixed and was told I'd have to pay again. They took the lash tint off (the only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1) and we continued to talk in circles about getting the brows fixed so I just paid and went to another (not Milk and honey) salon to have them fixed. There were so many better ways to address this, the easiest of which would be to offer an incentive or discount to they woman after me for the inconvenience of what would have been 10-15 extra minutes to fix my brows and lashes and not have me walk out looking like a teenager got a kit off Amazon and got overzealous. It was just completely night and day from my usual experience at Milk and honey. The other locations are typically meticulous with brows, taking time to wax, trim, clean up, adjust etc. After all, there's hardly anything worse or more obvious than badly done brows. The eyelashes were simply a result of rushing to get to the next client. Sigh. Definitely think twice about going here. Id suggest the South Lamar location, or the one at the Galleria.

The spa was very clean, luxurious, bright and calm. The waiting room was comfy with lots of seating and tea. I really enjoyed my massage with Mo. Mo was very intuitive and knowledgable. She was very thoughtful in how she did my massage and in how she gave me feedback/suggestions on how to care for myself after the massage. Thank you!

I booked a sports massage with Ian and he was absolutely amazing. Certain therapists just have the gift - he's one of them. I appreciate him taking my feedback and focusing so heavily on the tightness in my shoulders. That was the whole reason for my appt and I feel great now! So grateful I found my masseuse in Austin.
