This’s was my first visit with Dr Straight and I was very impressed! Everyone from the front desk to the nurse and Dr Straight were so friendly and professional. Rachel (nurse) was very personable and put me at ease right away while prepping me for the biopsy. Dr Straight was vey informative and gentle with her exam. I had the full body scan and a biopsy and was really happy with all aspects of my visit.

Look no further- you’ve found the best derm team in ATX! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Straight- aside from being knowledgeable and professional, her bedside manner is incredible. There’s a warmth and genuine care about her that is truly remarkable and honestly, it’s what every doctor’s visit should feel like. She doesn’t just treat skin issues; she actually listens, takes her time, and makes you feel like a patient she truly cares about. Her assistant, I believe her name is Leila (excuse possible misspellings), is also so kind and sweet—they work together beautifully! I always look forward to seeing Leila bc I know I’ll be met with care and kindness! This dynamic team makes me as the patient: 1. Feel like my skin and hair issues genuinely matter and that I’m in good hands, 2. Actually look forward to coming back because I trust them and feel supported as we walk through my treatments together. I honestly can’t believe I’m writing a review for a derm office.. but they’re just THAT lovely & great !

It was great experience with the PURE DERMATOLOGY Office. Every employee from the front desk to the assistants of Dr. Chu being attentive to my concerns. Dr. Chu gave me a knowledgeable, detailed explanation and outlined the treatment options we can consider. I just moved to Austin two years ago and that experience with a doctor’s office pleased me even more about people of TEXAS. It was thoughtful professionalism and the respect they showed. Dr. Chu and team are knowledgeable, professional, amazing and friendly. Today was my second visit as a patient and I realized they've established such a welcoming environment. I took a few photos of the beautiful lobby area, as I helped myself from their cornucopia bowl of free skin care samples. 😁 No offense to most MD's, but I'm 63 and I've seen a few over the years, It's rare to find a doctor who also has great sense of humor. Staff is very accommodating and cordial. All of the staff attend to patient needs. Dr. Straight is very friendly and attentive. And she is willing to talk with the patient while paying attention to the procedure she is performing. I found that very relaxing especially when the subject was Big Bend National Park.
