I have been a patient of Dr. Jukes for many years and have always had a wonderful experience. Recently, I was seen by Kelly Porter, and I cannot say enough good things about her. From the moment she walked in, she made me feel completely comfortable and at ease during what can sometimes be an uncomfortable and vulnerable procedure for us as women. She was calm, confident, and incredibly professional, while also being warm and reassuring. I left feeling heard, cared for, and confident in the care I received. It truly makes a difference when a provider combines clinical excellence with genuine compassion. I’m so grateful to have found a practice and team I trust. Highly recommend!

I was initially interested in becoming a patient at Modern Women’s Health because of the positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I called about a week in advance to cancel my new patient appointment, but because the call was made from my work phone, they said there was no record of it. When I called again the morning of the appointment, it was because my child had the flu, which I later also caught. I was told the cancellation fee could not be waived unless I came in for another visit, which didn’t make sense given the circumstances. Expecting someone who is sick to come into the office just to avoid a fee feels unreasonable and unsafe for staff and other patients. I understand offices have policies, but there should also be flexibility and understanding, especially when illness is involved. Sadly, this experience changed my decision to move forward with care here.

I’ve been a patient of Modern Women’s Health for several years now. Dr. Jukes and Kelli Porter have been SO incredibly patient and have always taken the time to explain things and answer all of my questions. They are experts in their field of women’s health but they also acknowledge, honor, and respect each woman’s personal agency valuing it in the way of listening to concerns, comfort levels , and feedback. The nurses and front desk staff, literally everyone is always so helpful and willing to go the distance for their patients. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for years but I think I need to find a better gyno. Just assumed it would be a nice place because it’s in Westlake but I’m not convinced they actually care about women’s health, more like pointing out women’s insecurities so they pay for treatments (posters everywhere making you wonder if your vagina is still wet enough, if your chin skin is tight enough, etc). Every time I have a yeast infection they make me come in and wait a week for swab results while still suffering with the extremely uncomfortable symptoms. No treatment provided in the meantime, and I typically don’t receive a call to discuss my results. I have had a vagina for a long time and I know when I have a yeast infection. It’s the most common problem for people with vaginas yet they make a big deal of it and hold treatment hostage until you come back in again and pay another copay. They claim coming in for a swab is standard practice to receive yeast infection treatment - tell me why I simply TOLD my dermatologist I had a yeast infection and she wrote me a script for 10 fluconazole refills, but the best they can do here is one pill max. It’s really sad, it’s not about women’s health. Fluconazole isn’t even abused it’s literally only used for fungal and yeast infections. The probiotics they sell are extremely expensive and usually not even halfway full upon opening, I’ve tried two different brands they sell. I also feel their older providers have outdated knowledge and Ive questioned their decisions multiple times. Tracy Kwan was the closest I got to someone who listened and cared but of course she no longer works there!!! Honestly women have so much to deal with, why do yall make our lives harder?

Worst experience ever. They are only interested in up charging you to death. The front staff does not let you know the "mandatory mammogram" and "mandatory pelvic exam" requirements needed if you want to continue HRT before booking your first appt. A mammogram is not a legal requirement, I was up to date on my pelvic exam and if their office demands them, they should tell you up front. The nurse practitioner was uninterested in my history, tense and arguing me on my values and only interested in pushing extra cost services in order for me to even get my current HRT script refilled. She told me she "dabbled" in the HRT that I was currently on and was confused and couldn't even read my prescription. NOT RECOMMENDED if you believe in natural medicine.
