Skin Parlor Austin

I thought I'd written a review for Skin Parlor but looking through my reviews I didn't. This review is EXTREMELY OVERDUE!! Don't hesitate getting ANY services/procedures here. I've been going to Heather for years - before Covid. I completely trust her recommendations. My usual appointment is that I tell Heather "Do what you think is best". I've had microneedlings, Aerolase's and BBL's (it's not a butt procedure. It's IPL). I'm 62 and people think I'm much younger - thanks to Heather! I moved from Austin to Michigan. There are other med spa's where I live but I fly out to have Heather to work on my face. How I first found out about Heather is from the person who did my lash extensions when I lived in Austin. She got her lips done and pointed them out to me. I thought she was wearing a real pretty lipstick or lipgloss. The way Heather does lips, it looks very natural - ie NO duck lips. There are owners of med spas who aren't estheticians. Heather is the owner and operator/the esthetician, she gets to know you (your skin), knows how to operate the equipment, and everything used on your face. She ONLY selects the top of the line equipment and products. Heather is extremely knowledgeable on the current latest and greatest. She has great people skills - always concerned if you're comfortable. For me, all of the procedures I received were basically painless - pain level 1, maybe 2 at the most. One time I received microneedling and Aerolase and it was painless. I was expecting to look like Hellboy walking out of the place because of the microneedling. My face wasn't red at all! I was amazed. I used to work in a hospital and notice about sterile techniques in everything - food, medical, etc. I don't have any concern about Heather. She always lays everything out, glove up and is completely organized which makes her efficient during the procedure. I've been to many other estheticians before Heather and never been happy with the results. The MAJOR plus is that she understands ethnic skin/people of color. Yes, I'm one of them. I never had discoloration or scarring from any of the procedures. You won't be disappointed but you have to remember, it takes time to see results. If I didn't see results, then I wouldn't be flying out to Heather.

A friend recommended Skin Parlor to me about a year ago. I went in and saw Sophia and have been coming back ever since! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and great at what she does. She’ll help you figure out what your skin goals are and will personalize a treatment plan based on your budget. I’ve seen major progress in my skin. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Skin Parlor Austin is absolutely the best. My mom, daughter and I are all clients and have been more than pleased with all the services and results. Heather is the best of the best. She treats my mom and I and Madison has been helping my daughter with her acne struggles. You will not regret making an appointment and prioritizing your skin health.

Heather has been my go to skin care specialist for over five years now. The experience is always consistently amazing and I love the results from the facials, laser treatments, and dysport every time. It’s so comforting not having to be concerned about the end result. I know it will always be exactly what I’m looking for. Heather is very professional, knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality and demeanor. I would highly recommend her for any service.
