Daylight Dental South Austin

I've been a patient here for 6 years or more. The staff have always been knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoy the atmosphere in the lobby. The wi-fi works well. They play cool music while you're getting cared for. The offices are always clean, as is the bathroom. The doctors are always professional. I will say, a couple years ago, there was a doctor that I did not like, but she no longer works there. Otherwise, I've always had an excellent experience with all the dentists at this location. Honestly, the best dental care I've received over 40+ years of consistent dental care is from Dr. Song, who practices at this location. He has been my dentist for about a year and half and he has always been attentive, caring and honest. I highly recommend this location. P.S. There is a great bakery just to the side, which you should also visit. ;)

I strongly recommend anyone coming to Daylight Dental to get a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment. I do not trust the reviews for this practice. I also do not like to leave bad reviews for any businesses specially a women owned ones. I switched my dentist after relocating to Austin and selected this office based on these reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was highly unsatisfactory. The cleaning I received was the worst I have ever had. I was informed that I had two cavities, despite the fact that my previous dentist had identified no issues during years of routine checkups — including within the past six months. This discrepancy raised immediate concerns. Unfortunately I trusted them. After two fillings were performed, I experienced persistent pain for several weeks. Following an extended evaluation, the office acknowledged that the filling had been placed improperly by Dr. Pham and too close to my tooth pulp (nerve). As a result, I was told I would now require a root canal — a procedure they were not even able to provide. The filling was also uneven and could be felt distinctly with a fingernail. Also, when I reported noticeable buildup remained after the cleaning, the issue was attributed to “personal hygiene.” Additionally, I felt pressured to undergo a fluoride treatment, which I declined. I strongly advise caution and recommend not solely relying on these reviews when choosing this practice. Do yourself a favor: save your money, time, and most importantly your health by seeking more professional practice.

I had a wonderful experience at this dental office. The dentist was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in explaining everything before starting the procedure. The staff was welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The office was clean, organized, and very professional. I truly appreciate how gentle and attentive everyone was. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality dental care!

I cannot recommend Daylight Dental enough! I’ve had a few experiences with dental offices in the past, but the level of care here is truly on another level. The entire team is professional, punctual, and—most importantly—genuinely kind. They handled my appointment with such efficiency and made sure I felt completely at ease. I especially appreciated how the dentist took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly without making me feel rushed.

They were wondering, my wisdom teeth were growing sideways and pushing against other teeth until it broke teeth # 19. They removed my teeth and did a bone graft for me. The removal was not was painful at all, and I was relieved to finally be free of the discomfort.
