Zitelli & Brodland - Shadyside

Very satisfied! The office contacted me quickly after my doctor referred me and scheduling was made easy by the excellent front desk staff. If you are going in for surgery, their advice to "count on being here all day" is much appreciated and, most times, accurate. The nature of Mohs Surgery is they keep cutting and testing until they're sure you are cancer-free! This takes time. Fortunately, the waiting room was comfortable and clean with an on-site restroom and kitchen area offering drinks and snacks. Dr. Lim was professional and friendly and I felt I was in "very good hands." The nurses were all welcoming and extremely competent, even offering "comic relief" (intentionally or unintentionally). The doctor and nurses all make sure you are not feeling any pain and are comfortable. You even get to choose your favorite type of music to listen to while Dr. Lim is "stitching" you up! Both the office staff and Dr. Lim make themselves accessible if you have any questions or concerns in the days following your procedure. Even though it's a 1-1/2 hour drive, it's worth the drive. I've been there on two separate occasions now and it's been a good experience both times and I highly recommend this group.

I cannot recommend Dr. Lim and the staff at Zitelli-Broadman, & Lim ~ Shadyside, Pittsburgh any more highly than with Ten Stars! My wife and I were staying at the Hyatt Hotel ~ Shadyside as my surgery was scheduled for Monday morning. Lynette called me Sunday night to cancel the appointment, because Pittsburgh had 11.2 inches of snow on Sunday, and many of the roads had not been plowed. Lynette knew we were from Erie and staying at the Hyatt, so she reschedule me for Tuesday morning. We completely understood, as she continued to apologize. We knew they had no other option for the safety of the doctors and staff. When we arrived Tuesday morning Lynette again apologized and helped us in many other ways. The doctors and staff were both friendly and professional while making me feel relaxed and comfortable. Doctor Lim and his nurse and Dr. Grombeck explained every step that they were doing and often asked if I had any questions, and answered all of my questions. The nurse brought my wife into the room as she went over the after care instruction list and made sure that we understood them. (I apologize for not remembering the nurse’s name…I have “Old-Timers!”) And in the evening after my surgery, Dr. Lim called me at home to check up on me. In the future, if I need another procedure, I would definitely return to the care of Dr. Lim. I would also recommend Zitelli-Broadman, & Lim ~ Shadyside to any family member, friend, and anyone else looking for excellent and compassionate care. `Thank you Dr. Lim, Lynette, Dr. Grombeck, and staff. I’ve been at this practice for about 20 years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The scheduling is easy, the receptionist are always polite and professional, and the staff are just wonderful. They are very thorough, their explanations are always concise yet detailed, and I always walk away, thinking what a wonderful practice. I am a retired physician and I really appreciate their wonderful care.

Dr Lim and his staff were all so kind and friendly. They were able to get me in pretty quick too! They are very discreet when speaking with their patients. The office is very nice, comfortable and accommodating. I highly recommend him!

Referred to Dr. Zitelli for removal of a scalp melanoma.(Mohs) No one looks forward to such an experience however, this practice made this as comfortable and painless as possible. Office staff was extremely thorough and professional. Courteous in all regards. Doctors Zitelli and his staff explained the procedure step-by-step and reviewed the pathology in detail. Because of the size and location of the excision closure options were reviewed. I had a 7:30am appt. and was OTD by 10:30am. Extremely quick turnover, considering all the histology preparation that had to be done. Would have no hesitation to Recommend this group for Mohs procedure.
