I had the stem cell injections on both of my knees and I am so grateful! My knees were completely bone on bone and besides this saving me from needing knee replacements, my knees feel wonderful! I was completely covered by my insurance through my employer! My doctor was Dr. Sally but all of the staff there are amazing!

Dr Lieber:: I believe it was 2018… I had stem cells placed in both knees. For several years I did not see any improvement. However , I did realize eventually that my knees did not get worse. I have no pain in my body and, unless I try to squat, or twist my knees, I remain pain free. I have asked another regenerist physician ( my daughter’s brother in law) and a local orthopod what I am about to ask Dr Lieber. Could it be that the procedure stunted further damage to my knees. I go to Anytime Fitness three times a week, do a routine for one hour and I am able to complete this exercise ( not overly athletic) with ease. I am 89 years old and live independently. I drive and have an active life. Has there been research conducted? If so, are others seeing this result. The orthopod I mentioned above told me before the Procedure that I was bone on bone, and probably would be in a wheelchair if I did not have knee replacement. In my opinion, this could be life changing for many patients., and save insurance companies millions of dollars and the recovery and pain/danger of of anesthesia and surgery. Highly recommend. Entire staff and Dr. Sally were extremely pleasant and highly knowledgeable. I appreciate Dr. Sally's candidness and he doesn't push procedures if they aren't going to be helpful for your medical recovery. The staff is friendly and helpful, also great to call an office and speak to a live person. Dr. Sally explained everything about my condition and I even called back to clarify some questions and the nurse and him quickly answered it in one phone call. Great experience overall.

If you are reading this you probably have back pain and know how debilitating it can be. I was referred to Dr. Lieber by my PCP, not because of his questionable "stem cell" therapies but because he is highly experienced and highly skilled in xray-guided spinal injection. I was not disappointed. The reason for the poor rating is the way the Pittsburgh office is run. Patients are responsible for scheduling their own MRI, an activity that can result in weeks of unnecessary pain. As a returning patient, I knew the drill and scheduled my MRI. They had the wrong birthdate on the prescription, resulting in another delay. When I had an MRI date, I immediately called and scheduled a follow-up appointment for treatment. When I called to let.them know I had my MRI, they could find no record of my appointment. I asked to speak the the office manager, who was rude and did not feel obligated to help in any way. Another 10 days of pain and sleeplessness. At that point, I cancelled. A neurosurgeon at a major hospital system agreed to see.me two days later. I will never return to Regenexx.

I got a treatment from this place, Dr Lieber, specifically. It changed my life, seriously. This provider accepted my insurance, which I think may have been a favor (I'm not sure about that). But, he was fast, safe, told me exactly what the risks & benefits were. But, I think one of the biggest benefits was finding a Dr who was finally willing to do a treatment that was a little unorthodox in the current regime. All the Drs in the past were willing to do nothing other than maintain my current state & condition w typical treatments & meds. After seeing these guys & Dr Lieber I got immediately better in a meaningful & durable way. Very much appreciated!
