I wanted to take a moment to share my wonderful experience at Studio Booth. From the moment I walked in as a walk-in customer, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The modern, sophisticated atmosphere creates an instantly welcoming and luxurious experience. The team’s expertise, attention to details and genuine care for clients truly set the salon apart. I highly recommend Daniel to anyone seeking an upscale, stylish, and professional salon experience. It was an absolute pleasure to be welcomed so graciously. I’ll definitely be returning! I love the location too, next door to Trader Joe’s.

I had an amazing experience getting my hair colored and cut here! The stylist really took the time to understand what I wanted, suggested shades that suited my skin tone, and the final result turned out even better than I imagined. My hair feels healthy, the color looks gorgeous, and the cut frames my face perfectly. The whole team was friendly, professional, and made me feel so comfortable. Highly recommend this salon for anyone looking for quality hair color and a great haircut!

I AM WARNING YOU DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HAIR HORRIBLY MESSED UP WITH NO REFUND. I had never been here before but saw they had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I went in for a perm and my stylist was very nice and we had a great conversation, but at the end he started cutting my layers without asking, but I was fine with it, as I assumed that he would do an amazing job since the place seemed very professional. NOPE. The pictures attached are what I was left with, and I only noticed 24 hours later when I washed my hair. Obviously I was very upset, the layers were done horribly and after I straightened my hair to see the full extent of the damage it looked like my hair had been chopped off with an axe. My highlights were cut off, instead of layers they left me with steps! As a result I had my friend cut off the dark parts of my hair so that I could at least walk outside without feeling embarrassed. I did NOT want to cut my hair, but it looked so horrible I literally had no other choice. I then called the place to see if I could get a refund. The owner eventually called me, and was NO help at all and was so unbelievably unprofessional. I explained to her what happened and she didn't believe me until I sent her pictures, she said things like "We have very trained people here who know what they're doing" when I tried to explain to her what happened, she kept shutting me down and acted as if I was making it up. I was not calling to cause issues, I just wanted to get a refund since I had spent $220 on the entire service alone, not to mention a $44 tip, and ended up with half of my hair chopped off. She said that they do not do refunds here, and that instead I could come in and they could fix it for me. Well, I do not live in Pittsburgh, I was home for spring break and was already back at college, so that was not a possibility. But also, why would I trust them to ever touch my hair again? I explained this to her, and asked again for a refund, and she said AGAIN that she cannot give me a refund. This is when I sent her the pictures of my hair. She then said she would talk to the stylist who did this to me and call me back. She talked to him, and do you want to know what he said to her? She told me that HE SAID I CAME INTO THE SALON WITH MY HAIR CUT LIKE THAT?!?! Which is obviously not true at all!! I came in with normal hair! So not only did he mess up my hair, but he also refused to take accountability for it! After probably 15 minutes of going back and forth with this woman she EVENTUALLY agreed to make a “one-time going above and beyond exception” and give me a PARTIAL refund for what happened to my hair. I told her no, I want a full refund, because I can’t wear it in a perm now, or else my hair is going to be up to my cheeks because of how much I had to cut off due to your services. She said that no one forced me to cut my hair and that they could’ve fixed it. Again I told her that I had to cut it because of how badly they butchered it. I was beyond frustrated at this point and told her if I do not get a refund I am going to leave a review on my experience here. SHE LITERALLY LAUGHED AND TOLD ME THAT IF I LEAVE A REVIEW I WILL NOT GET MY PARTIAL REFUND. She also said something along the lines of “Okay and we’ll have no problem responding to you publicly”, kind of insinuating that she was going to shut down whatever I had to say. So not only do these people ruin hair, lie, and refuse to take accountability, they threaten their customers as well! Like what the heck! So at that point I just accepted the partial refund and hung up the phone. I did get my partial refund ($95) but now I am writing this review to warn everybody of this place. I never leave reviews but this situation left me so upset and frustrated and I could not believe the lack of professionalism or care. I have never experienced something like this, and I was in shock at how horribly I was treated by this woman. I am telling you DO NOT come here, and if you do come here and they mess up your hair, GOOD LUCK getting a refund!!!

My experiences at Studio Booth are always lovely. The staff is helpful and very friendly. I always have Natalia as my manicurist. She is fabulous and does a perfect job. I would recommend her one hundred percent.

Matthew did an amazing job with my haircut! He really listened to what I wanted and gave me a sharp, clean look that suits me perfectly. The studio itself has a great vibe—modern, clean, and comfortable. Matthew was professional, friendly, and made the whole experience super easy. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a quality men’s haircut.
