Tend + Nourish Skin Therapy

I recently had a facial/facial massage here and loved everything about it. Allyson took time before my session to ask about my lifestyle, habits, and my wants and needs for my skin. The facial itself was extremely relaxing and my skin looks and feels great! I will be telling all my friends and can’t wait for my next appointment!

I can’t say enough positive things about Allyson. I’ve been going to her for facials for 5+ years, and I’m amazed by how much she has helped my skin. Her level of expertise in treating acne and rosacea is unmatched. Beyond her ability to give the most relaxing and healing facials I’ve ever received, it’s her thoughtful and holistic approach to home care that really makes her stand out. Allyson always takes the time to discuss your at-home regimen and makes recommendations on products and lifestyle modifications. I can confidentially maintain that post-facial glowy skin at home by following her plan. If you’re looking for someone to really transform your skin I would highly recommend Allyson.

I’ve been a big facial-loving person for a while now — and have held memberships at places like Massage Envy or Hand & Stone. While I was going there for help with skin, yes, I mostly went for the relaxation. But since starting to see Allyson 1) she’s now the only esthetician I see and 2) the benefits of working with her have been tremendous and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced any place I’ve ever been to. Not only does she help heal my skin and bring it back to life, she has at times helped me come back into my body, breathe better, and has given my nervous system a break and gentle reset for being able to take care of myself after leaving the studio. I also have TMJ and past jaw surgery side effects. The buccal massage and overall movement that comes with a facial from Allyson has really helped my jaw pain and tension. The studio, by the way, is a great location on the east side that’s beautifully adorned with natural products, cozy furnishings and radical books. It’s always fun to follow up a facial with a visit to Open Road just a block down from Allyson’s spot for a non-alcoholic bevvie.

I can’t recommend Tend and Nourish enough! Allyson is truly a magical human and it feels like such a gift to work with her. She has a very intuitive and caring energy that shows in each part of her practice and I really enjoy the holistic approach she takes. I’ve received two facials, including some targeted massage to work on years of jaw pain, and both were deeply impactful physically and emotionally. So glad I found T+N and am excited to return.

My wife goes to Tend and Nourish regularly and recommended that I give it a try. I went yesterday for my first facial, and it was absolutely amazing. Allyson, the owner, made the entire experience so comfortable and enjoyable. She took the time to explain everything, made sure I felt relaxed, and my skin has never felt better.
