I went to Healing Roots for a much-needed reset, and it was exactly what my mind and body were craving. From the moment I walked in, the calm and welcoming energy put me at ease. The intentional way they worked on releasing tension left me feeling lighter, grounded, and refreshed—like I could finally get back into my flow. Healing Roots Massage & Wellness Center is a dream! Lately, I’ve been carrying so much stress and grief in my body— whew! the tension in my shoulders and my lower back—that I’ve been trying to be more intentional about self-care and focusing on softness. I recently got the most amazing customized massage by Heather. Healing Roots offers services and education with a holistic approach that heals mentally, physically, and spiritually. My experience felt very personable, and I felt seen, heard, and cared for throughout my session. The atmosphere is lovely. The salon is lighted my natural light; it’s warm and inviting; and it smells so good, like a spa. Healing Roots feels like a safe space.

Not one to usually leave reviews but I came in with a lot of upper back stiffness and pain and left feeling much better. Nick is incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and skilled. One of the best massage therapists I have ever worked with. Will definitely be coming back :)

I don’t leave reviews often, but after leaving Healing Roots tonight, one of the first things I thought of was how I wanted to make sure I took the time to leave a review regarding the amazing experience I had with Nick! He was very thorough and personable, taking the time to explain the techniques he thought would be best based on my symptoms and how they would be beneficial. Throughout the entire session, he made sure I was comfortable and checked in often regarding pain level, etc. I left feeling incredibly relieved and relaxed, with noticeably less muscle tension. If you’re in the Pittsburgh area or somewhere relatively close, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Nick!
