In April 2024 Dr. Avery Capone operated on me. His commitment to personalized detail was not lost on me. He personally visited the hospital each day and dressed my surgical sites himself. He delegated none of this even though it obviously took him away from any weekend plans he may have had, since my stay was through the weekend. Dr. Capone is modest and does not overstate his abilities, but he could. He is a brilliant surgeon! I had a complicated surgical hernia that required a higher level of skill to properly repair. I am beyond grateful for having come under his care. He is professional and yet extremely kind and treated me with dignity and fellow feeling. I had no nervousness going into surgery with his guidance. He is altruistic, stellar, and I am forever grateful and recommend him highly! I am soon to have my second surgery with Dr. Capone to complete the process started in April 2024. I am feeling very optimistic and confident in his abilities. He has already proven to me that his patients are important to him. He treats the whole person, inside and out. He helped me to reach out to some other specialists a few months ago with other health concerns and I followed his advice and receive much relief!
