Well, the result of the facial was decent; However the customer service experience was very lifeless. My appointment was cancelled and rescheduled twice. I was told I would receive an extra service or discount for the inconvenience; I did not. My interaction with who I believe was the owner was very nice. As I was very nice and understanding as well. The front desk worker repeatedly gave me this “smug look” one I arrived and when I went to pay at the end of service. The aesthetician (whose name I won’t mention) called me a “fancy girl” after giving her my facial history. Which it was the demeanor that came with the comment that bothered me. I was given no after care consultation. No products were recommended or offered for purchase. I was very excited to have this facial as it had been a while since I’d had one and as a women getting back to myself. The experience stayed on mind because I was really disappointed. So I’m sharing not warn people , but for improvement.

This was my first time having a facial and it definitely won't be my last..I had been flirting with the idea of treating myself to a facial and I am so glad that took the plunge into self care. The atmosphere was welcoming from the beginning with the pleasant receptionist to my facial by Ramariah Hughes. She was AMAZING! It was so great that I already booked my next appointment. The Skin Bar VIi is a slice of heaven on earth. Thank you for one of the best experiences of ny life.

Amazing environment, I love the atmosphere. The staff is amazing from the Owner, all the way to the host. When entering the establishment you know you are in the right place. The music is relaxing and soothing. All of the techs are very knowledgeable of the services they provide down to the products available. You can tell they care and take pride in what they do.

I’ve been to three different ladies here for waxes, one of which being the owner, and they never get all of the hair. Even when going over it to “clean it up”, they never catch it all and seem to have a bit of an issue when you point it out. What makes it worse is that the hair that they miss is never short. It’s always long enough to be seen. It’s irritating seeing as they include automatic gratuity. If gratuity is automatically added at the end, service should be top notch. I expect to receive the same type of service that they would expect to receive if they were the client. I love supporting Black businesses and wish them the best at their new location but I will not patronize them again.

I’m feeling so refreshed and relieved from the tension I had my skin feels extremely clean and my lip exfoliate was so needed and it felt great I will be back soon and I also loved she explained each step and products she was using I like that. I wanted to give a review for my massage service was amazing and well done and I needed that I feel refreshed and blessed
