Gentle Dental at Gratiot Avenue

I just got my new dentures and I’m honestly really happy with the experience. The staff was super easy to work with and very accommodating. The doctor clearly knew their stuff and got straight to business. Even though the place looked a little deceiving at first, the overall experience was almost perfect. Best of all, the dentures fit great and look very natural. I couldn’t be more pleased!

Completely misleading, mildew smell upon arrival cold an unpleasant waiting area. made it to the back the person immediately started cleaning no X-rays were taken I had hardened plaque I tell her she’s hurting me & she says oh well I already put on the gel she was on my gums I believe she had a nervous twitch or something because she could not hold still as I watched her prep materials feet an hands were flying EVERYWHERE poor attitude & poor standard of care front desk lady was pleasant an if it makes it any better no one said their name I don’t even know who was working on me I decided to leave because of the disregard to my pain and the unnecessary back and forth I asked if there was something we could do about the pain she proceeds to have a angry tone as if I’m hurting her mouth .. no sympathy no regard for patient satisfaction I disclosed to them I haven’t been to the dentist in years this was a HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE & I almost never do google reviews but I had to let everyone know GENTLE DENTAL ON GRATIOT IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO AT ALL!

I was there back in early Nov of 25 and were scheduled for an extraction on 1-30-26 .when I got there they told me they don’t see my reasoning for an appointment and asking me which tooth was it. long story short,I waited almost 3 months ,took a day off work ,for these ppl to look at me like I’m stupid, no type of procedure of any kind was done for me today,not to mention I got a cleaning in Nov,but my whole right side of my mouth was swollen and irritated top and bottom so how did I get a cleaning, now today I missed money for this,I need to find a new dentist and fast ,cause why does the waiting room look like a homeless shelter not a tooth poster anywhere no magazines the tv was on with no sound,the workers came from the back to mop the waiting room it was 3 ppl in there at 12:20 pm saddest place I’ve ever seen‼️

Dentist was to rough when pulling my tooth out. Even the way he talked to me seemed like he hated his job. Had to schedule 6 appointments just to get my wisdom tooth out. They closed the building and didn’t follow up to change my date or help and tired to push my date back til April after waiting already from November. This location is very unprofessional ‼️

I agree with the person who said don't allow your elderly family members to come here. They are rude and disrespectful, place your calls on hold for 15inutes, hang up on you, then you call again no answer. They couldn't find any information on my mom's dentures. ( She had to get them refitted, an waited 3weeks with no callback). After they holding on for 15 min. And hanging up on her and she called back to no one answering
