Mesna Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Center

I had made my consult appointment weeks ago and have been anticipating it all week. I have never had anything done surgically, so I was nervous. I went to my consult and when I walked in, there were 3 women sitting behind a desk on the upper level. Not one smiled or said anything to me. I went up the stairs and was let one know I was here for a consult. She gave me a form to complete and went back to talking to her co-workers. I completed the form and went back to the desk to turn it in, she gave me a stark look like I was intruding. I went back to the waiting room and sat in silence. My consult was at 10. I showed at 9:49. I waited until 10:16, with no staff talking to me, before trusting my gut and walking out. I have never been to a place that made me feel so unwelcome, let alone a surgical facility where I am supposed to trust the providers with my health and appearance? No way. I had taken off work for this and moved my entire schedule around, only to be driving home not even having met the doctor. He could be awesome, but unfortunately having such awful and unwelcoming staff at the front stopped my entire process. I would never suggest anyone go here until they sort out their customer service and maybe get some new staff. Thanks for wasting my time.

Dr. Mesna is PHENOMENAL! He did my sister's breast reduction a few years ago and she highly recommended that I see him for my own. I had a breast reduction done 11 months ago and I could not be happier with the results. He is truly an artist. My shoulder and neck pain had already decreased the same day as my surgery, and my before/after pictures are evidence of Dr. Mesna's talent. He answered all of my questions before and after the procedure, and I never felt rushed. This man listens well and is attentive and understanding. His staff was fantastic, as well. After the surgery when I was worried about post-op infection, he could tell I was anxious and he let me come in for a follow-up appointment every week to check my incisions so he could reassure me that there wasn't an infection. I wish that I had done this surgery sooner, and I will recommend this man to anyone that needs a plastic surgeon. If you're on the fence about getting work done, just set up a consultation. I promise you won't be disappointed. This man gave me confidence and took away pain that years of physical therapy could not!

I had a breast augmentation and tummy tuck by Dr Mesna. He explained everything thoroughly to me, he is very kind, I really appreciated that. He did a wonderful job, I look and feel great! I had an amazing experience with Mesna plastic surgery and aesthetic center. I did a lot of research for rhinoplasty. I chose Dr. Mesna for two big reasons. First, Dr. Mesna’s work is natural which was really important to me. I looked at photos of rhinoplasty patients on different plastic surgeon’s websites throughout the twin cities and felt his work was one of the best. Secondly, he is genuinely kind and makes the process from start to finish feel manageable. Nose surgery can feel scary because it’s a big deal and right on the center of your face, but he was straightforward, honest, and transparent about the process making me feel at ease. He kindly answered all my questions, never making me feel silly about what I asked. My wife came with me to many of my appointments and commented on how great he was to work with as a spouse of a patient. The surgery itself went so smoothly and I am ecstatic about the results. It’s exactly what we discussed, what I imagined, and my nose looks incredibly natural. Additionally, the entire staff at Mesna is incredible. We worked a lot with Dominique and she was wonderful. My wife and I would walk in and they would immediately greet us by our first names (before even making it up the stairs!) making us feel welcomed and cared for. I’m so grateful I found such a great place. I highly recommend Dr. Mesna and his team!

Dr. Mesna is THE best. From the moment I met him, I knew I had found my surgeon. He is kind, patient and - goes without saying - one of the absolute most talented in his field. There is nothing I would change about my entire experience. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process and could not be more pleased with my results.
