Dragon City Acupressure

I have never had a bad experience here and I’ve been going for the last 9 years or so. However I’ve never written a review until today because Cici just gave me a massage that allowed me to get up and leave without hip pain after weeks of barely being able to walk. She was so kind, so in tune with what my body needed and provided perfect pressure. Usually I ask for male massage therapists because I like really deep tissue, but I have never been more impressed. Thank you so much Cici!

Best massage I've ever had. Every time I've gone to an expensive spa I've asked them use hard pressure and they never really do. This place really does. You have to like a firm massage for this place. I slept on my neck the wrong way and could barely look left to right and called all around to try to get a massage at all the normal spas and could not get in anywhere on a random. Monday evening. Then I remembered my friend told me about the this place and I got right in. None of the bells and whistles but who cares when you are getting such an amazing massage. I walked out a completely different person. I will be back.

Let me start by saying I have been here many times. Although not like a regular spa massage, based on the convenience/cost of being able to walk in and get a massage on the spot, they do a good job. I would typically rate them four stars. However, I was just there Tuesday night and had a "bad" massage. The woman that did it was wearing a Lycra arm band on her forearm and 75% of my massage was her using her forearm to rub it over my body. It seemed she was too lazy to use her hands to do her job and took the easy way out resulting in an unsatisfactory massage. I should have overrode their pre-programmed tip options in their credit card machine and given her a minimal tip - if any. Oh yeah, it would also be nice if the massage employees just did their job and refrained from talking to their co-workers. (As mentioned in another review.) I will go back and try them again but if I get another massage like I just got, it will be my last time going to Dragon City.

I am so upset about today’s experience. I have been a loyal client for several years but the last few times I have been to in to get a massage there has been unprofessional behavior from staff talking loud etc. Today when I was there on a table in a separate room. I went in and a huge fight erupted at the front desk amongst a group of staff. Then my therapist working on me started yelling at the group from our room. This happened for a few minutes. I will still charged the full amount. And left so uncomfortable. So upset about this experience.

Stay away from this place unless you want to be in pain the next day! I’m in town visiting family and my SIL asked if I wanted to get a massage. She said she has gone to Dragon City for foot massages and loves them. I decided to try the full body massage. It is NOT a massage. The guy that worked on me used SO much pressure, it was painful. I kept thinking it would get better and it didn’t. I told him it was too hard and even when he lighted up a bit, it still was uncomfortable. The longest 30 minutes of my life! I am mad at myself that I didn’t get up off the table and walk out. The next day my neck and shoulder blades were so sore it hurt to move. This place doesn’t know what they’re doing and should not be able to use the words “massage therapist” in their business description! They could do some serious damage! (And the only reason they got 1 star is because I couldn’t give them 0 stars)
