Milan Laser Hair Removal

I have been getting treatments through Milan for almost a year now and I have mixed reviews. I started at the Edina location and absolutely LOVED the staff, the nurses and everyone else were so kind, personable & amazing communication. I ended up switch locations to be closer to my new house, then I began going to the St. Paul location. Although the scheduler is so kind I cannot say the same about the nurses. After getting waxing Tx for years and having numerous laser apts previously, I understood pain and have a good pain tolerance, however it started to hurt (which I understand is normal for more stubborn hairs). I was in a great deal of pain the last Tx I had and I was voicing this to the RN, I told her please stop for a moment since it hurt so bad and I needed to take a second. She did not stop until I asked 3 times. I felt completely mistreated as well as I felt like I was overreacting because she was not being kind. I am a nurse myself so I understand how things can be but I always try to treat my patients with kindness & compassion as well as use communication techniques to distract from pain. I have felt that neither of the nurses that work in this location have any of these qualities. I felt completely judged & mistreated after leaving. After how much I am spending on this I was expecting to at least have them listen when I tell them to stop the first time. I was so shaken up and ended up leaving the building in tears. I tried 4 treatments at this location and tried to suck it up despite the nurses, but this was my breaking point. I am now going back to the Edina location and would rather drive further to have better staff give me the remainder of my treatments. I want to share my experience so others know about the nurses at this location.

Some of the best laser hair removal I've had in my life! It hurts, of course, but the results speak for themselves and the professionals do their best to make sure it doesn't hurt quite as much as it could! Mina is a wizz with that laser; always a pleasure to work with her!

I was always hesitant going through with laser hair removal. I had a friend recommend Milan and now I wish I had done it sooner! They are great to work with, the results are amazing and I’ve only had 3 treatments so far. Price is fair considering you pay for each area and get it covered for life! Definitely worth the consult if you are considering it.

Love all the ladies at Milan in Saint Paul. They are always so kind and welcoming when you enter. They have a lot of patience with me as I tend to jump during a treatment. Always great laughs. Check them out!

I always have such a great experience at this location. The staff is so wonderful and accommodating. I usually have Mina as my nurse and I adore her! Love the fact that I have sessions covered for as long as I need them.
