Milan Laser Hair Removal

This location is fantastic! Such friendly staff! Elle is the best. She is very personable and professional. Erin, one of the nurses, does a great job keeping you relaxed and session light. If you have considered laser hair removal, stop in and get a consult with Elle. I was on the fence when I went in but was immediately welcomed, put at ease, and felt no pressure. This is the place for all your laser hair removal needs!

I reached out to Milan laser hair removal via text, asked for pricing, I was advised to come in. I then called over the phone, asked for pricing, once again advised to come in. I went in, asked for pricing - I believe I asked twice but Ellie was training a nice lady and she wanted to do a whole presentation. I don’t mind shadowing for training purposes but if a potential client is asking for pricing multiple times and you understand that’s important to them, just give them the pricing and explain the breakdown of the cost. Instead I saw through a whole presentation, finally got pricing after asking for it again, then was being sold by Ellie how amazing it is, did not once mentioned the whole cost of the service, just the monthly payments. I barely understood what i signed for until I got home and was like, 7 grand?!? Ellie gave me her cell phone, to text at “any time” even “late at nights” if I have questions. I felt a level of sales pressure to say yes and I walked out there and almost cried in the parking lot. This reminds me of the documentaries of unethical sales tactics. I texted ample amount of times asking for a cancellation, sent emails to her and to patientfi, no response as of yet. PatientFi responded and stated the provider needs to cancel. The clinic is open today as shown on google so unsure why I haven’t gotten a response. I would say if you’re planning on doing laser, do your research. I called 3 other places on google this morning and got their pricing with no problem. Anytime a company is reluctant on getting you pricing , most likely they’re overselling or want to use sales tactics to bind you into a contract. I reviewed Reddit as well and the feedback there was similar to my experience and some folks never got to cancel due to them using the service 1 -2x. Very bad experience.

Yesterday I had my laser hair removal appointment and I really had to give 5 stars to the person who did the treatment, her name is Erin and she's been the best I've had at the Uptown location for two years. She was very kind, attentive, and empathetic with me, explaining everything and trying to keep a conversation going so I wouldn't feel pain during the treatment 😊.

Let’s be real, hair removal isn’t fun. But the people at Milan are amazing and make the whole experience way more pleasant. They’re friendly, supportive, and do a great job of making you feel comfortable during a not-so-comfortable process.

I’ve only done two sessions at Milan in Uptown, and have already noticed a big difference in my hair growth. I opted in for the treatment of my armpits, lower legs, and Brazilian. I’ve only been to this one location so far, but I can say that the staff there is amazing. Ellie, being the first person you meet for your consultation, it’s the most inviting person and really lets you know what all goes down with these treatments. She gives you the low down of if it’s a right fit for your skin/hair, and gives a thorough explanation of why. I’m always happy to see her when I walk in the door! I’ve had Becca the past two treatments, and she has been nothing but kind, professional, and extremely easy going and conversational. She is so sweet, and I hope to see her more in the future! If the rest of the locations have staff even half as sweet as these two, I just KNOW they are taking the time to choose the best of the best. They want what is best and safest for you, and they want you to feel confident and happy walking out. Does the treatment hurt? I’m not going to say it’s a breeze, but to me it’s all worth it. You get short discomfort for long term satisfaction. Pricing. Is it expensive? Yes, but again, I believe it is all worth it. It’s an investment in myself that I decided to make, and I will never regret it. Plus it even helped boost my credit score (if you make all your payments on time, Ellie will explain all of that too at your consultation). Overall, great experience, and I am so glad I started this process here at Milan in Uptown.
