I've had very positive experiences with both Dr. Smars and Dr. Langley, and members of West Lake Dental Center's clinical and administrative staff! Very thorough, patient, kind, and communicative in talking WITH me (rather than AT me) so that I feel understood and actively included in the care process. The reception, dental assistant/tech and Dr Langley are friendly, professional and do exceptional work. I moved from Minneapolis to St Paul and still drive across the Twin Cities for my dental care because of them.

I recently switched to this location after my previous dentist retired and I couldn’t be happier with the change! The office is very nice and every member of the staff has been so welcoming! My cleaning was very thorough and my follow-up appointment for a filling was the smoothest I’ve ever experienced. I’m very impressed with the quality of care here and so glad I chose this dental office!

I'm the pickiest person I know and this place is one of those places that I confidently consider an absolute benchmark. I won't go anywhere else in Minnesota. The reviews are not flattery.

They are awesome. Really got their systems and processes in check - was nice to fill out forms online and even schedule appoints. That’s the type of efficiency we need in 2024! No one got time to a stack of papers, clip boards and old pens. Everyone was great. Place was sparkling clean. No complaints here. Bed side manner was immaculate. Dentists and hygienists crack me up tho. These people will have all 10 fingers. An elbow. A mirror. And a probe in your mouth and they still be asking you philosophical life questions like describe to me your experience of your first born and contrast that with your journey to my dental office 😂… and do it in Shakespearean prose.
