I have always had a wonderful experience at Arbor Lakes for my dental care. It’s unfortunate that I have to give a more negative review this time. While the hygienist deserves 5 stars, the new dentist didn’t deserve any stars with this recent experience. I was always so grateful for Dr. Bach- he cared for all of his patients and he made the office welcoming and comfortable. I was sad to hear that he is no longer there. I had high hopes for the new dentist, but those were misplaced. This new dentist I found to be arrogant, not welcoming, and didn’t care about his patients’ individual needs. I don’t even think he read my chart before talking to me after my cleaning. I wasn’t asked about my post Invisalign treatment, and he assumed I had a filling fall out when I’ve never had a filling in my life. He appeared to me to be someone that just wants to hurry up and get you in and out of the office and doesn’t seem open to any questions. Because of this experience, I’m sad to say I probably won’t be returning for future appointments. I will not feel comfortable with the new guy taking over my care.

Short version: I went in for a cleaning since they’re covered by my insurance. After an hour in the chair (x-rays, scans, no cleaning), they insisted I needed at least four more visits in the near future and it would cost over $1,000 after insurance. Instead, I went back to my old dentist, they cleaned my teeth without any major concerns, and I was on my merry way without spending a dime. Long version: I had the opportunity to speak to both the office manager and the dentist prior to my visit. I told them I was switching dentists due to location and because their website says they could help with my TMJ pain. I asked the dentist how they could address it, and he said he could show me stretches, exercises, and massages that would help, as well as a nightguard. I shared with both him and the office manager that I have anxiety surrounding dental visits and that it’s very hard for me to coordinate the appointments with my & my children’s schedules. They seemed understanding. The first hour of the appointment went fine, the hygienist was very kind and professional. I told her I knew there was some tartar buildup as I did not make it to the dentist in 2025, and that my insurance this year covers 4 cleanings, so get what she can in the time allotted and I’d be back soon for another cleaning. Unfortunately, she did not clean my teeth. After the dentist did his exam, he told me that I would need to come back for two separate deep cleaning visits, each over $300 out of pocket, then I would need a filling, THEN he would see me for my TMJ and scan my mouth for a nightguard. I asked if my teeth were going to be cleaned today, and they said only if I signed a refusal of the treatment plan, as they insisted this was the dental treatment I needed. I did not have another hour to spend in the chair, I felt completely blindsided and just wanted to leave (dental anxiety). They tried to convince me to stay, which I am guessing they regretted after the fact. I went to my old dentist, they said I don’t need a filling at this point, and when I asked about my gum health, they said a gum stimulator can help, and to come back for another cleaning soon to get back on track. The dentist at Arbor Lakes Dental did absolutely NOTHING to help alleviate my TMJ pain. Even though I told him it was having a significant impact on my day to day life. They could have told me after my cleaning that I needed follow up work, since there are NO downsides or risks to cleaning my teeth before the dentist did the exam, only benefits. The fact that the dentist absolutely could have ordered the night guard that day (which the hygienist said he would before she scanned my mouth for it) but didn’t even TALK to me about it, just confirms to me this was all about money.

Went to Arbor Lakes Dental for my first dental visit in years and I was really nervous about what I may learn about my dental health, but the staff was fantastic; Anna was my dental hygienist and she was warm & welcoming and walked me through every step of the process. Dr. Bach was great too, both were very informative and will be getting me back on track with regular cleanings. I was lucky to not have any cavities or anything major pop up, I'm looking forward to my deep cleaning and regular cleanings going forward with them! The view from the dentist chair is definitely a plus too!

I was late to my appointment by 10 minutes, which I did give them a call and let them know. Natasha, my hygienist, was very kind to continue the exam work on me & informed me they may not be able to complete the cleaning for me that day. I understood their reasoning and expected to schedule the cleaning later on. However everything went well & to my surprise, Dr. B was able to complete the exam on me and Natasha was able to work on me to complete the whole cleaning. I didn’t expect that and was very thankful that they did their best to fit me in. They were kind the whole time. Rating for the service is 5 out of 5. Natasha always explained everything to me about procedures being performed on me. The technologies in the office and the treatment plan are top notch. I love how we don’t need to wait for our tooth to have cavity before we can start fixing it - it can be fixed now from noticing the first sign of cavity. The cleaning technology with water is gentler compared to the manual way and quick - I love that. They are not upselling anything at all. I recommend Arbor Lake Dental.

I am thankful to find Dr. Bach DDS and his fabulous team. I had not had recent dental care when I went for my first appointment.at Arbor Lakes Dental. I knew that I needed quite a bit of dental procedures. The dental assistant and Hygienist put me at ease being gentle and kind. Dr. Bach put me at ease as he explained each part of treatment. Dr. Bach was excellent and provided pain-free dental care. I found starting with the front staff through the whole visit to Arbor Lakes Dental was warm and caring. My experience has helped me to get over my dental anxiety.
