What caries this place is Kelly at the front desk, Dr. Katie, and Haley. I want to deduct a star for management - I can see under new management it caused stress on the staff members, and that broke my heart. I really appreciate my doctor - Dr. Katie Lewis. I know it will be extremely rare to find a doctor who actively listens and is as helpful as she is. There were so many symptoms I didn’t realize I was dismissing or gaslighting thinking it wasn’t an issue. She took everything seriously and into account - sending me out to referrals for my peace of mind. I know my health is the best it can be because of her help. Also - Haley for Acupuncture. She was super active in helping me adjust my lifestyle - not simply relying on acupuncture for my symptoms. One thing that really stood out was how she asked what I was doing to HELP my gut health. I was avoiding the foods that harmed me, but I didn’t realize I wasn’t doing anything to support it. I learned how my emotional health and stress was affecting my health. I appreciated that she respected my religious beliefs, and what a detailed acupuncturist she was to me. I wish the best for Dr. Katie and Haley and Kelly !!

I have been very happy with the time that I have been at Pohala clinic. I have been working with Stephanie Aring for the last several years and have felt like she is very attentive and responsive to my questions and concerns and also supportive of the different methods of treatment I have inquired about and desired. The people at Pohala are kind and patient and helpful and I have really appreciated the folks at the front office and my care with Stefanie .

Appointments are easy to schedule (virtually and in-person). The office staff is friendly and always helpful. Although their clinic is not close to my home, time for my annual appointments are worth the drive, plus I have the option to have virtual appointments as well. Stefanie has been my primary care provider for the last few years and I am very pleased with her care. If you are looking for more personalized care I recommend Pohala Clinic.

Dr. Katie Lewis is wonderful! She listens and really cares. She orders the needed tests to help her get a complete picture, and then comes up with a plan that is a combination of natural and Western medicines. I really appreciated how instead of continuing to take a "let's see" approach that my previous PCP took about an issue I was having, Dr. Katie suggested a couple natural supplements to see if they could help improve that area. I'm a relatively new patient, so she checks in after every few weeks to see how the plan is going. She has been revising the plan as needed to help me achieve optimal health. It's easy because the appointments can either be in person or by video. I definitely feel cared for. I love how knowledgeable she is and how she starts with natural approaches first when possible but also offers Western medicines when they are the best choice. I feel like she has really customized my health plan to me and not just offered a generic plan that everybody follows. I highly recommend Dr. Katie as a PCP! The staff at Pohala Clinic are great too - very helpful and kind!

Julie’s been our doctor since I believe about 2020. She’s spending most supportive doctor we’ve ever had. She’s very thorough and caring and now that my husband has terminal cancer she’s been an absolute lifeline the whole clinic. All of the staff have always been helpful and very kind and willing to accommodate us.
