I was referred to Dr Bartholomew by my oncologist. He explained procedures and next steps well, was friendly and professional and my surgery went smoothly. I am now a month post-op and have appreciated his care and expertise as I move through after care. There is so much ambiguity before and after surgery, especially when surgery is part of cancer treatment, it's hard to hold all the information and navigate all the emotions, but I have been grateful to be tended to by Dr Bartholomew along the way. I can't say enough about Dr. Bartholomew and his skill as a plastic surgeon. I recently had right carpal tunnel release surgery and was able to receive this procedure "in-office!" Dr. Bartholomew was very detailed about what the procedure would entail and answered all of my questions during our pre-op visit. His medical assistants and office staff are wonderful and were so helpful with scheduling and helping to fill out my forms for short term disability. My procedure was very successful! I am so happy that my right hand no longer falls asleep during the day and at night. The pain was minimal and my recovery has been going well. Dr. Bartholomew is one of the leading plastic surgeons in the Portland area. He is up-to-date on the latest techniques and it shows in the results from his many patients.
