I had my first surgery with Dr. Fichadia in June 2024 for a breast reduction. At first insurance was denying it of course. And at the time the physicians assistant I was seeing fought the denial for me and did receive an approval. I was so grateful. From beginning to end, the entire office staff was the most pleasant and supportive I’ve ever experienced. I knew I wanted a radical reduction and was battling on the inside wanting a top surgery or not. Dr. Fichadia was very supportive and asked me multiple times what my desires were. We moved forward with the reduction. I had such bad PTSD from a previous surgery due to a traumatic car accident and was extremely nervous and had anxiety for this surgery. This surgery completely changed my life in so many ways. Including how I am able to now be a bit more calm surrounding surgeries because i was taken care of and everyone was so gentle with me the whole process. The surgery was perfect and the results were exactly what we discussed. Needless to say, this surgery also provided me clarity with my identity. I then knew I wanted a full top surgery. Telling Dr. Fichadia made me so nervous only because I didn’t want to make her feel like I wasn’t grateful for all of the work already put in. But once the tears calmed and I got the words out, she was absolutely nothing but supportive. Reiterating multiple times that it’s my body and she is there to help me get to the goal I have in my mind. So we set forward for a full top surgery. I needed a year of recovery from the first one. Then top surgery came. She was able to use my initial incisions to make it happen. This happened in September 2025. I am the happiest I have ever been. The office staff and Dr completely changed my life in the most positive way. I could never thank them all enough. Both myself and my wife were treated with nothing but respect and pleasantry the entire time. I hope they are all able to read this one day and know they change people lives in the best of ways.
