Zama Massage Therapeutic Spa

Zama massage is my favorite spa in Portland. The staff is incredible and very talented. I have had two massages there and my partner got her first facial and brow wax there. The masseuses are so kind and accommodating. They ask all the right questions to make sure that your experience is perfect. This time around I did the Halo Massage in the Himalayan Salt room and I loved it. The room its self is beautiful and very grounding. My masseuse, Willow, was so fun and had a wonderful energy. She was very professional and cared a lot about what to focus on for the days massage, how comfortable I was, and how I felt after the massage. She targeted my legs, hips, feet, and shoulders and oh my goodness I am a new woman! My partner came out of her facial so incredibly happy. She said she wanted to do this monthly because she enjoyed her experience so much! We will definitely be going back to Zama regularly!

My daughter surprised me with a special mommy and daughter spa day. We came for the triple package that included footwork and massage, facial, and massage. Unfortunately, they messed up in their appointment when my daughter called. Because, when we got there, we found out the only thing we were going to have together was the massage. I had a facial, and so did my daughter. Separately. Each of us had to wait 30 minutes by ourselves to wait until the other was done. They did accommodate us. They apologized for the inconvenience. But it wasn't the experience we originally wanted. My facial was fabulous. My daughter's wasn't. Because her person during her facial, instead of focusing on her, was telling her all the issues that were happening. How stressful. Not relaxing at all! Our massage was fantastic! I believe the 2 gentlemen were Jeff and James. We were made as comfortable and at ease. The room is large, with a perfect temperature, with a nice comfy massage table, which is heated. I appreciated the sheet with the blanket for extra coverage. Even though there were issues, we would still come back. We understand things happen. We left feeling very relaxed, especially after our wonderful massage.

The best massage I have had in a long time. Beautiful building must do if you're in Portland. Had a massage in the Himalayan salt room. Will definitely be back

We had an amazing experience here! Booked a couples massage for our anniversary. I am pregnant and they were able to accommodate me in the couples massage with my own prenatal massage with the belly pillow- Whoolie, my massage therapist- was AMAZING. My husband had a great massage by Tim as well. We were able to buy the special coco butter massage and do an add on to have it in the salt room. It was so worth it. We enjoyed chocolate truffles and warm tea afterwards and weren’t rushed to leave. SO relaxing and 100% the best part of our anniversary weekend. Thank you so much!

I went to Zama for my first time today as a birthday present and much needed self-care. A little bit of heaven came to Earth as I was served by Alexis and Stella. I got my first facial from Alexis who is incredibly welcoming and sweet! I loved how she shared what she was going to do before we started. And then had a body and scalp massage enhanced with cupping from Stella who used the perfect pressure, transitioned well from body part to body part, and I could feel “things” releasing from my muscles. That was SOOOOO AMAZING! I feel like I’m glowing and a 1000 pounds lighter. And I got chocolates and a card! So sweet! Better than I imagined! The receptionist was so kind, welcoming, and brought me water. Loved it! 🥰
