I have had the pleasure of working with Emily for almost a year now, and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. I first discovered her while shopping at a local store, Dano, where someone was sharing their experience with her and speaking so highly of her work. I’m so grateful that conversation led me to her. I have struggled with acne for many years and had honestly started to believe that clear skin was something I would never achieve. After several unsuccessful experiences, I became hesitant to trust another esthetician. That changed when I met Emily. From the beginning, she took the time to educate me and approach my skin from a holistic perspective. When I first came to her, my skin was very congested and inflamed. Through patience, consistency, and her thoughtful guidance, my skin has completely transformed. For the first time in years, I have gone an entire month without a single breakout. I had the great fortune of being gifted a facial by a dear friend who receives regular care from Emily, and what a gift it was! Emily focused on sustainability in my skincare routine, was educational about daily routine factors (sleep, water) that impact our skin, and was flexible in her considerations of products I already have/use and what might be a better fit (or what might be stressing my skin out despite my good intentions). She ensured I understood how the products she was recommending for my skin worked (knowing how or why is important to me), and I never felt the focus was on selling product and was instead about helping me build habits that I could sustain. Thanks to Emily and her creative habit stacking approach, I am drinking more water than I have in a long time and am more consciously working to get more sleep. My facial was a luxurious treatment that left my skin feeling soft, moisturized, and glowing.
