Edited to add my new review: Janelle, the amazing owner and massage therapist reached out to me to offer me another massage to try them out again with a different therapist. I chose Janelle this time for my massage and im so happy i did. Her pressure was literally so perfect for my achy body. Her pressure points were exactly where i needed them for the perfect amount of time. This woman knows how to read the body/muscles. She knows how to find knots, move them around, and break them up. She is phenomenal at what she does and she is so kind and welcoming. I left feeling so relaxed and sleepy in a good way. I cant wait to see her again next month and im glad i was able to give them another try. I would recommend Janelle to everyone. First review:. I am 15 weeks pregnant and booked a prenatal 90 minute massage, i went in for pain and tension relief and unfortunately my first appt i did not receive that. My first therapist was really good at caressing lotion into your skin gently, talking to you calmly, offered a warm table, nice smelling room, and just a relaxing hour and a half of quiet music, If that is what i was looking for then she would get a 5/5. But i came in with some real pain and serious tension in my body and i did not leave feeling any pain relief . We went over my problem area, on my intake form and in person, and she still spent VERY little time on the area. Her touch was soooo gentle it was like she was afraid to hurt me or possibly didnt have the strength in her hands to go harder. 20 minutes in after i realized she wasnt just learning my body and knots, i finally asked her if we can do more pressure, she said of course, and didnt change the pressure at all. She had no real technique in the massage. No pressure points. No firmness, no pressure fluctuation, no searching or breaking up knots, no deep nothing! I left feeling EXACTLY the same.

Luna Wellness has been everything that I have wanted and needed in a prenatal and postnatal wellness spa. The owner, Janelle, was my massage therapist when I was pregnant and she was exceptional. I have had hundreds of massages from many different massage therapists and Janelle is one of my top recommendations. From day one she was very attuned to my body and what it was needing for that day. I always felt that she gave me a personalized massage and I felt that she cared a lot about creating an individualized and caring experience for me and I imagine for all her clients, in their maternity journey. Luna Wellness lets me bring my toddler to the appointment and play in their playroom, so that my massage is accessible to me, even when I don't have child care for my toddler. I will definitely continue with Janelle in my postnatal experience and beyond. I highly recommend Luna Wellness and Janelle to be a part of your maternity care!

I recently had a massage with Janelle and it was SO nourishing! It was the perfect blend of therapeutic and energetic, and I left feeling completely blissed out. She ended the massage with a meditation that allowed me to connect with my body on a deeper level- her voice is very soothing, and it was a great catalyst to bring more mindfulness into the rest of my day. I found Luna Wellness when I began experiencing sciatic pain at the start of my second trimester of pregnancy. I am so glad to have found them- the staff and care Ive received has been nothing short of amazing! Theyve been understanding and supportive if Ive had a last minute change or cancellation and worked with me to find a better time. Dr Fisher is so kind and intentional with her plan of approach for chiropractic care and really cares about her patients. Ive always left my sessions with feeling more relaxed and empowered about my health & ways to support my changing body through pregnancy.
