Jein King Pacific Academy / Oregon Tattoo School

I had been following Jein King for years when I lived in Arizona, never imagining that when I moved to Oregon, I would end up so close to her studio at Jein King Pacific Academy / Oregon Tattoo School. I had never been truly happy with my eyebrows before—every day I filled them in with black, spending at least 30 minutes trying to make them even, and they still never looked the same. Getting my brows done by Jein in 2020 completely changed that. It honestly transformed my confidence in my appearance. For the first time, I felt like my face looked balanced and natural without all the daily effort. I haven’t even needed a touch-up since then, and I still absolutely love them. People constantly assume they’re my real eyebrows, which says everything about her skill and precision. What amazed me most is how she accounts for every tiny detail—things you don’t even think about, she has already anticipated and perfected. The way she measures, shapes, balances facial features, and customizes everything specifically to you is unreal. It truly is an art form, not just a service. Jein is the best person you could trust for permanent makeup. Her work is unbelievably consistent—every photo she shares shows the same level of identical precision and perfection. On top of that, she is such a beautiful soul. Sitting in her chair felt like a genuine blessing, and I’m forever grateful for the confidence she gave me. If you’re considering permanent makeup, there is no one better.

My Mom and I have seen Jein for about 8 yrs. Jein’s eyebrow tattoos are out of this world! And so is her personality and professionalism! If you want perfect eyebrows see her now! I started with very little eyebrows due to over tweezing. And now I wake up with perfect brows! My Mom is 71 and she loves her eyebrows as well! Nobody even can tell they are tattooed because they look so natural!

I trust my brows to no one other than Jein. I still remember the first time I had them done (nearly 10 years ago!), I was so nervous and couldn’t make up my mind. Jein was incredibly patient, making small adjustments where I asked, and gently but confidently refusing changes she knew wouldn’t look good, especially since I was a total newbie and had no real idea what I wanted. Thank goodness for that. When I went back to see her again for a touch-up, it felt like catching up with an old friend. She immediately puts you at ease and carefully walks you through every step of the process. Jein is a true perfectionist—after finishing, she checked and rechecked my brows from every angle, lying down and sitting up, to make sure everything looked absolutely perfect. I’ve already referred two friends to her, and they love her just as much as I do.

I started the program in October of 2025 with no cosmetic tattoo experience and about 3-4 years of body are experience just on my own (nothing serious). While I didn't know what to expect I was blown away by Jein. She is professional, kind, and straight to business. She taught me so much in such a short amount of time is highly impressive. If you have a detailed eye and a willingness to learn I would highly recommend this program, it was worth every penny to me. Just know it's hard work and it doesn't come without frustration but Jein doesn't settle for less then perfection. Over all it was an amazing experience and I will remember it for the rest of my life. The friends I've made, the people who let me practice on them, and of course Jein and Trinity (the body artist teacher) have all made my work 100x better then when I started. My friend and family have all noticed the difference and I'm getting more bookings and people showing interest.

Sooo bittersweet to write this because this means i graduated today from Jein's class! I wish it never ended purely so i can say hey and catch up with Jein every week lol. She is an incredibly capable teacher and such a genuine human. Everyday in her class was a treat. Her teaching style is so adaptive and she makes sure to always thoroughly explain her techniques. If you dont understand she gently teaches the way and won't stop until she believes you are capable. If you are debating taking her PMU class, do it! Besides being an fantastic teacher, she is effortlessly a kind soul
