Balm Pearl

I had my brows shaped, laminated and tinted and I also had a lash lift and tint. I saw Mykel and she was so amazing. I loved how thorough she was and how comfortable she made me feel from the get go. We were literally laughing and talking the whole time. My brows looked AMAZING! My lashes did as well but unfortunately I have stubborn straight lashes and the next day some of them had lost their curl. I called and they immediately got me in the following morning to touch them up. For this appointment I saw Alyson and she was amazing as well. Walked me through the process every step of the way. She was very knowledgeable on lash serums and I really appreciated her taking her time explaining things. My experience here was wonderful and I would highly recommend. ** I should note that this was my first visit at Balm and my first lash lift and tint.

Oh, I’ve definitely been on a brow journey. I found Mykel a handful of years ago and she introduced me to sugaring — which has been such a better option for my sensitive skin than hot waxing. My brows have honestly never looked better. I had really struggled to get my natural shape back after years of over-plucking, and she patiently guided me through the grow-out phase (and my constant temptation to grab tweezers). She truly knows what she’s doing. Not only is she a brow wizard, she’s one of the gentlest humans I’ve met. I always enjoy our chats and leave feeling confident and taken care of. The salon is beautiful, clean, smells amazing, and there’s never any pressure around sales or scheduling. Highly recommend Balm. If I could afford every treatment, I would — but one thing is certain: no one else is touching these brows… not even me.

Went to get my first facial EVER and had an incredible experience with Emily!! I’ve been plagued with adult acne the last year or so and wanted to do something about it. She walked me through the whole process and let me know what she was doing and using throughout the facial. She also provided great recommendations for products to use once my skin had settled 7-10 day after the treatment. I have a newfound sense of confidence in my skin care journey and just can’t thank Emily enough :) I will absolutely be coming back!

Disappointing Experience with the Precision Plus Peel I was really looking forward to my second visit to Balm PDX, but unfortunately the experience was frustrating from start to finish. My appointment started 30 minutes late, and when the Precision Plus peel was finally opened, over two-thirds of the product spilled out of the container. I was told another couldn’t be opened, yet I was still charged the full $225 for a treatment that clearly wasn’t delivered as intended. For the price and professionalism Balm usually promotes, I expected better communication, accountability, and basic quality control. I left feeling disappointed and taken advantage of, rather than cared for.

Audra gave me the most perfect lash set ever. I booked a classic full set and they’re so soft, natural, and perfect! She really listens to what you want and makes you feel so comfortable during the appointment. I feel so pretty! I can’t wait for my next appointment with her
