Take It Off Tattoo Removal and Alt Spa

5 stars for so many reasons…. I have to give some background first. I haven’t had brows/brow hair since 2015. So I decided I was tired of hand drawing them on every day and then got them microbladed/shaded in 2016. After some time, I wasn’t quite aware that where I was drawing them was quite a bit higher than where my natural brows were supposed to be. 🤦🏼‍♀️ For some silly reason, I went into my first combo brow appointment with a full face of makeup on. I was not well versed in the process, I just trusted the artist to give me permanent brows. Unfortunately, the brow artist at the time simply traced around MY horrible hand drawn work, wiped away my make up, and tatted that shape on my face. I left happy cause I had brows! But…. Over the years, I continued to get touched, but my brow hair kept trying to grow back, and it keeps trying and trying, but it’s well below the tattoo. So I’m plucking every day, not allowing any hair to grow since the tattoo is higher. I have felt stuck in this cycle for a decade. And then came Nano brows! I didn’t hesitate to look into removing what I had for a chance at a better brow life. 😅 Fast forward to just a few months ago when someone referred me to Sarah at Take It Off PDX for my removal. The first picture is of my old brows. Incredibly oversaturated. Incredibly unnatural looking obviously. And incredibly incorrectly placed. 🫠 Second photo is of my first appointment with Sarah! Bless her with all of the good things. Those were my results after my first laser removal session! Mind you, as they heal from each session, the color changes depending on what you have going on underneath. So I have done a total of four sessions now I think. And the results got better and better each time! We are now looking into saline removal to get some of that yellow out that’s left behind. Once I’m satisfied with that, I can finally get nano brows (in the right spot this time), and possibly even let my brows grow back! 😍 Sarah has only ever shown deep concern and care every time I’ve gone in. She won’t start until you’re ready, comfortable, and feeling assured. The process was never unbearable or difficult, she’s really good at being quick, and the cold blasting machine thing is freaking amazing. I don’t think I felt a single thing in my first two sessions. I was SO nervous too, which is funny, cause it was literally for nothing. 😂 I highly recommend applying the Zensa lidocaine cream an hour before your appointment, and then using the Alocane ointment post appointment. And just know that you’re in good hands with Sarah. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, Sarah has a passion and enthusiasm regarding the science behind it all. She is an absolute gem, a genius, an artist, and simply the best. 🥰

Professional, clean, and superior customer service! The decision to remove a tattoo is a big one and Ben made it as simple and smooth as the service itself. After a very professional consultation he was able to get right to work. He was extremely impressive and even asked for consent to touch my tattoos!!! What a gentleman!! Ben was super chill and a tattoo removal wizard! Pretty much completely removed my old micro-bladed brows in two sessions. I put this off for years because I thought it would be super painful, and it really wasn’t. It’s uncomfortable, but way less painful than a Microblading session. And it literally took 3 mins to finish for my brows. Thanks Ben!!
