Timber Dental

Timber dental is the best dental experiences I've ever had. Dr. Dar is incredibly kind and helpful and my hygienist Jamie as well as Raina were so nice and helpful. I am so thankful we have this office in Portland! Some things I really like about the office are that it's really clean, they offer payment plans, and the services are usually really fast. I have some dental anxiety and they have made me feel really safe and cared for. Couldn't recommend this office more!

We really hoped this place would be good and stuck with them for a few years. The dentists and hygenists we had were always fine/average. But nearly every visit had a frustrating experience with scheduling or most frequently billing. On my son's last visit, they overcharged us by $8 dollars, even after my husband asked them to double check this amount (because of our issues in the past). He paid with our health reimbursement arrangement credit card which became a nightmare to deal with because every purchase has to be verified. This amount WAS incorrect and did not match with with our EOB so our claim was denied. Their billing department line is never answered and they don't return voicemail or email. Finally someone from a different department helped us and said they would refund the over payment. But instead of an instant return to the card like EVERY OTHER business, they said it would take a few weeks to go through. When the refund finally came, it was an email of a digital credit card that had to be uploaded to our Google wallet (good thing we have that app) and it had a monthly fee if the money wasn't spent in six months. This is all ridiculously burdensome and not at all how any company should handle their billing mistake. Ultimately I had to pay back my HRA from my checking account because Timber couldn't just do a simple refund. So I would not recommend this place and my family is leaving the practice. In addition, it never felt very clean in there (floors and furniture not the actual dental equipment).

Really happy of having found this dental provider! Kind staff, Doctor took their time answering all of my questions and worked to find the best route for me to achieve my goals. I appreciate everyone’s effort to provide excellent care! I recommend! Easy to schedule, good communication, lots of space to park behind the clinic and they offer complimentary coffee. Thank you!

I was visiting from out of town and broke a crown. They got me in quickly and were able to fix it. The front desk staff Sarah was helpful and reassuring and the hygienist and dentist were friendly and gentle. All in all a great experience considering no one wants to need a dentist in a city that’s unfamiliar, so very grateful! Highly recommend

Completely obnoxious! They cancelled my follow up appointment for next week when I requested I needed an extra day to make the pre-payment, which would have still been fully paid for 5-days before the appointment. And this is for a second half of a treatment plan I have already paid for. Ugh 😑 Additionally, there was a charge for $120 for a cleaning solution that is covered by my insurance. Thankfully I noticed it and got a refund after calling them. I would hope they do a better job at tracking insurance, please look up your insurance for what’s covered. And thirdly, was billed $25 x 2 for a mouthwash that would also have been covered by my insurance thru Walgreens. I just feel they’re looking for every which way to charge more and be annoying rather be supportive for dental care which is stressful for most people. The only saving grace is the dental hygienist was fantastic and did great with both the cleaning and addressing my questions and concerns. Feels like they are owned by a private equity firm that’s only interested in extracting the most profits rather than supporting people with dental health.
