Serene Dental - SW Portland

All of my experiences at Serene Dental have been great. The staff is super nice and always makes me feel comfortable. My only complaint is that they charge an additional fee for paying with a credit card. When you’re already paying out of pocket and then have to pay an additional fee it’s always a bummer. But I understand it’s business.

Dr. Lutaaya was friendly, thorough with explanation and willing to show imaging/findings, and I was shocked that he did my deep cleaning as well as the exam. I’ve never had the attending dentist do both. My appointment was re-establishing dental care after a bit over two years without cleaning and I was sensitive about it, but no one made me feel like a fool nor did I feel upsold on interventions or treatments. I definitely plan on coming back.

Serene Dental is amazing. Dr. Shahgaldi spent so much time explaining everything to me and going over options for treatment. She listened to all my concerns. The office is modern, very clean, and inviting. The front desk was very nice and helpful.

Awesome dental experience! The hygienists are great. When cleaning my teeth there were no accidental pokes to the gumline, a first! Very convenient location and a great office, staff, and dentist. Highly recommend! *****

Excellent service once again from Dr. Shahgaldi and her friendly staff. One of my crowns fell out (done by a different office), and they found a time slot to reseat it within a couple days. This past year, the doctor set me up with a comfortable appliance that has relieved my sleep apnea and snoring. Dr. Shahgaldi is very knowledgeable, highly capable, and extra gracious.
