Five Pines Dental

After 3 yrs using Five Pines Dental, I had a very unfortunate experience. I had to cancel an upcoming appointment the day before due to sickness. I understand businesses having cancellation fees, but was not expecting the lack of empathy and helpfulness when told I would be responsible for a $270 fee before rescheduling. Very disheartening to feel your dentist seems more concerned with making money rather than one’s well being. I wish the situation was handled better because now it seems my husband and I must look for another dentist. :(

Five Pines has been my place for dental work for nearly a decade now. They are the absolute best team. Dr Zeller sees my whole family including a small child who loves going to the dentist. Easy to get to and parking is validated in the office. Always right on schedule, which is incredible for any healthcare office. Would never consider looking elsewhere for care.

If I could chose 0 stars I would.......stay far away from this office. Hygienists are not experienced or thorough, mostly trying to upsell services. You can tell by the fancy office that patient care is ranked low on their list of priorities. Save your time, money and teeth the headache and go elsewhere! You've been warned.

I have been a loyal patient at this clinic for over 5 years, even after moving to Vancouver. However, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. I booked an emergency appointment due to severe jaw pain and a suspected infection. Unfortunately, I hit traffic on my way and informed the clinic that I would be slightly delayed. Just 20 minutes later, they called to cancel my appointment altogether. My appointment was scheduled for 40 minutes, and considering the urgent nature of my issue, they could have easily spent 5 minutes to provide the antibiotics I desperately needed. If this had been a routine cleaning, I would have understood the decision to cancel. But to cancel an emergency visit and refuse to even address the issue when someone is in pain is simply unacceptable. This clinic has declined in service quality over the years, and this incident has made it clear that it's time to find a new dentist. If you value empathy and professionalism, I can no longer recommend this place.

I love going to the dentist now!! This is the only place I will go for any dentistry work that I need done. I moved across town and I still make the trip to come here because I refuse to go anywhere else!! I love their blameless and kind approach - I used to hate going to the dentist because they made me feel really bad about the state of my teeth. the folks at Five Pines are so kind and empathetic; they just want to help you feel the best you can. I have been going to them for the last 2.5 years and I've always had a great experience each time I visit. They're very upfront about costs, and always explain in detail to me what they are going to do during my visit and answers all my questions very clearly. I go to them every 6 months to get my teeth cleaned because I look forward to going to the dentist now! They have heated chairs that also has a massage function, and they are so gentle when they work on my teeth that it's honestly become a self-care hour for me now every time i go. I always recommend everyone I know to go to this dentist office because it is just such a wonderful experience! highly highly recommend, and they even validate parking :D
