Hydrate Medical, IV Hydration Huntersville

Honest review. I'm baffled they have nothing but straight 5 star reviews. I waited several weeks before writing this review to ensure my feelings about the experience were valid. This was a new experience for me, and without guidance I booked my services online. When I arrived at the location I was greeted with a smile and a friendly employee. She pulled up my booking and was in the middle of explaining that I had booked some duplicate services and she could save me some money. So while I was being explained my options, another very loud, bossy employee interrupted from the back (the place is small) and yells "Are you seriously down selling?" She immediately appeared beside the small check-in desk and asked what what was the reason I was seeking an IV treatment. I told her it was a new experience for me and that I had heard good things. She immediately points and suggested the most expensive option on the brochure, and as crazy as it sounds ... added additional services which now totals more than twice the amount of what I had booked. I'm assuming this was a technician, perhaps owner or supervisor and the person at the desk was a greeter/sales/cashier. Sticking with what I booked she rushed me into a lounger between 2 other clients. While trying to get comfortable they interrupted me and handed me an IPad and told me a nurse needed to speak with me before the procedure. I was asked private medical questions ... it was so uncomfortable. The 2 other client are close enough to me I could have reached over and touched them. I also thought this was illegal. One of the services I paid for was 30 minutes of oxygen use. The drip lasted barely 20 minutes (she had it set to a very fast drip) and I must said the rude bossy employee was prompt to appear and removed the IV and my oxygen as soon as the bag was almost empty. She actually open the drip full squeezed the bag to complete the drip. I dont think this is commonor procedure because I watched her remove a drip from the client on my left in the middle of my treatment which was done with alot more compassion and care. Also it was gave an uncomfortable feeling ... almost painful at the site of administration in my arm. My arm showed a ecchymosis (bruise) marking which almost lasted for 12 days. Needless to say when I left I paid full price for the services I had been originally told were doubled booked. I'm not one to case a scene (again the place is a extremely small and every spoken word can be heard by everyone inside), but not foolish enough to repeat or return. I hope more people are honest about their experience here. It's so hard to believe no one hasn't had a similar experience. Strictly because of this experience I will not return or recommend this location.

The website was extremely user friendly with no hassle appointment scheduling. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted with warmth and professionalism. I was provided step by step explanations with pertinent information. Staff made sure that I was comfortable the entire service. I will definitely continue service and I've posted on social media for all to see.

I had high hopes for my first treatment since the whole concept of IV fluids in general is for hydration and fluids. I’ve been dehydrated and was hopeful that this would give me the boost I needed to get on track. I felt no difference after. I went home, drank lost of water, and by then end of the day, was felt just as dehydrated as I did before. The staff and facility was nice but the treatment wasn’t effective :/

Fast attentive service with my issue dealing with constant nausea and unable to keep down any fluids. Made a difference by coming because it helped me get in fluids I was unable to keep down before. Worth every penny and made me feel a lot better the next day.

The staff are knowledgeable and very caring. Love the options to customize dips for my specific needs!! They office a nice variety of hydrating beverages, some small nut bars if you need a little snack and comfortable lounge furniture!
