I met with Dr. Amy Alderman today for a consultation, and I was genuinely impressed. I’ve had consults with several plastic surgeons, and she is clearly one of the most highly regarded in her field — but what stood out most was her integrity. After a thoughtful and thorough discussion, she told me she felt she was not the right person to perform my surgery and recommended another surgeon instead. That level of honesty is rare. It would have been easy for her to proceed, but she chose what she believed was best for me. Dr. Alderman is warm, direct, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell she cares deeply about her patients and about doing what’s right, not just what’s convenient. That kind of professionalism and ethical standard speaks volumes. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled and principled plastic surgeon.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Alderman and her entire staff. From the very first consultation to surgery day and every post-op visit, the experience was seamless, thorough, and incredibly reassuring. I felt completely comfortable and cared for every step of the way. The staff was kind, attentive, and made sure every question or concern was addressed. About a week before surgery, I changed my mind on sizing, and when I communicated this, I was met with thoughtful guidance and additional options that truly aligned with my expectations. My results are wonderful and exactly what we discussed. I’m so grateful for such an amazing experience and would recommend this office without hesitation.

I’ve wanted to make this review for years, but got in my head about it and kept putting it off because I was embarrassed. I had a breast augmentation and lift back in 2018 and Dr. Alderman destroyed my boobs. It was all around a pretty terrible experience. I was rushed through the process, therefore not given the time to receive the proper pre-surgery information or any image samples I was told I could have. In my consultation, I asked about the possibility of me losing sensitivity in my nipples and I was told “that’s not going to happen to you.” Well guess what! It did - my right breast has some nerve damage and I can’t feel sensation the same. We had also agreed that due to my asymmetry that she would remove some tissue from the larger breast and the implants would be the same size. I got out of surgery and found out I had two different size implants. So my breasts have also never looked right since you can see the implant on one in my upper chest and not the other. My left breast also was stitched weird when I was sewn back up because I have a huge dimple on the underside of my boob that makes me look deformed. The after surgery care was not better because I was also not given enough information about the healing process, and I’m not a doctor so would not know, but I had spitting stitches. And when holes appeared in my breasts, I of course panicked, and called the number I was given for situations exactly like that. Full disclosure, I worked night shift at the time, so when I discovered this, it was late. However, that is an expectation when you’re a doctor and on-call. It’s 24/7 and if you don’t like that then don’t offer it. When I received a call back from Dr. Alderman, she berated me for calling late and was incredibly condescending about the issue that I could have had no prior knowledge was even a possibility. This was fairly early in my healing journey and due to this phone call, I never felt comfortable going back. It was an incredibly traumatizing experience. Finding an all woman doctor team was really important to me and I thought with all of the positive reviews I was picking well. I was wrong and if I could go back I would have had many more consultations and picked a doctor that actually listened to me and cared about their patients. I’m pretty sure I have developed BII as well because I now have mystery allergies even though testing doesn’t show that I’m allergic to anything, have severe brain fog, and I have lost any ability to remember most things past or present, so who knows if that could have been prevented but doesn’t make me feel any more confident about Dr. Alderman. I will say, the anesthesiology doctor was amazing and so was the nursing staff, especially Katie. That’s really the only positive thing I can say.

Dr. Alderman is an artist! I wanted to get a breast augmentation surgery that looks all natural and it really does! I felt like I was in such good hands. She is so knowledgeable. This surgery really changed my life. I feel so much more confident. I can’t recommend Dr.Alderman enough.

I cannot recommend Dr. Alderman and her staff enough. After multiple consultations, I immediately knew I wanted to proceed with Dr. Alderman for my lift and augmentation. Her calm demeanor and expertise completely put me at ease and I knew I could trust her completely. I had her ultimately make the decision of implant size on the operating table and she knocked it out of the park. Her friendly and attentive staff made it a truly delightful experience and they quickly addressed all of my questions and concerns, both pre and post op. My results have been life changing for me, and Dr. Alderman has helped me regain my confidence. I’m truly so grateful!
