Skin Matters Med Spa

I had been a loyal client of Skin Matters for over 10 years, but my most recent experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I began laser hair removal with Skin Matters in 2015 and completed a 12-session package. Over the years, I continued purchasing maintenance packages, including a 9-session full-body laser package in 2021. I had completed 4 of those sessions and came in as needed, as I was told the package never expired. When I attempted to schedule my 5th session, my appointment was canceled last minute—something that happens frequently at this business, often with excuses such as machines being down or staff being “sick.” Because I live far from the city, I called multiple times in advance (including the morning of my appointment) to confirm that it would not be canceled. Despite confirming several times, they canceled again just hours before my appointment. When I expressed my frustration to the owner, I was then called by a technician, Leah, who spoke to me in an extremely unprofessional and hostile manner. She accused me of lying, claimed I had no sessions left, and talked over me to the point where I could not get a word in. The owner was on this call and said nothing while her employee berated a long-term client. Afterward, the business refused to acknowledge that I still had remaining sessions, claiming I had been refunded. I provided bank statements, credit card transactions, and proof that no refund was ever issued. Days later, I received a text from the front desk stating they were “still looking into it” but would allow me to complete my sessions—with a new expiration date of February 2027, despite the package being sold as non-expiring. While I appreciated the front desk’s partial apology, the overall handling of this situation was unethical, dismissive, and deeply unprofessional—especially from the owner and technician involved. At this point, I am walking away from money I invested simply to avoid further mistreatment. I strongly recommend taking your hard-earned money elsewhere. I will never return or recommend this business again.

I had the best experience with Botox injections on my forehead and crows feet! It has been just over 2 weeks and let me tell you the difference is night and day! This was my first time having Botox and I am so ready to have other areas done now. The pain was like 1/10 so very tolerable. The customer service was also great. I can’t wait to go back! Look at my before and after pictures!

I’ve been going to Skin Matters for almost 2 years now and they have only gotten better and better it’s been great to see and experience. They are my go to place for tox and I have just started filler. The tox has been great and Adam and Donna do a great job at tox placement that I’m very satisfied with. I’ll be making another visit for cheek filler in the coming month.

I had an appointment yesterday for Dyspor, and let me tell you, it was fantastic! Adam took great care of me, asked me my goals, and gave me advice and recommendations. Great experience at this place. It's not my first time receiving Dysport but it's the first time someone took the time to explain to me every detail. No pain at all.

This is the first MedSpa I chose after moving to Atlanta and needing a new injector. Dana is so personable and patient, she listens to what you want and will let you know what is a good idea vs a bad one! Prices are very reasonable, always have a good experience!
