Dr. Dastoury and his entire team and staff are absolutely incredible and highly skilled! My entire experience I felt supported, heard and cared for. I saw Dr. Dastoury for a tracheal shave (thyroid cartilage removal/Adam’s apple reduction), something very vulnerable that I had been researching for years, with my medical condition affecting my mental health and confidence and it was painful. Right away at my consultation I felt validated, had realistic expectations explained and felt like I was putting my care into the hands of someone I could trust and beyond knowledgeable. Any questions I had leading up to surgery were answered and the procedure was explained in detail. My surgery experience went amazingly and I woke up with minimal pain, swelling and bruising. The results are exactly what I hoped for and my scar has healed so nicely. During recovery if I had any questions/concerns Dr. D or the staff got back to me instantly, which really made me feel cared for. I felt like art that the whole team was excited about and supported. So if there’s anyone else out there with this condition, Modern surgical arts has your back! Details of my personal experience with Modern Surgical Arts of Denver were very positive once I decided to participate in plastic surgery. They were selected after I had extensive discussions with my personal doctors and phone consultations with other plastic surgical centers in Denver. Without a doubt, Dr. Kamran Dastoury, MD., rose to the top of all plastic surgeons I investigated. His background and experience as earning and and rated as a Double Board Cosmetic Surgeon helped me select him as my surgeon. From my first consultation with Dr. D and his staff, to completion of my liposuction surgery and healing process he and his staff were outstanding! As you may know, elective surgery is not inexpensive, but the intellectual and emotional intelligence displayed by Dr. D and his staff made me feel I was in the best hands during the entire process. His staff seemed more like a family who cared about me and my decisions/reasons to have the procedure. During the entire process I was encouraged to contact Dr. D., or his staff to answer any questions I had prior, after the surgery and during the healing process. I am sure I drove a few of the employees nuts as I recovered from the operation and healing process, but each and every medical professional with whom I asked questions listened well and had recommendations to solve my concerns. Also, I don't want to forget that D. D., gave my his personal phone number so I could contact him personally if I felt that was needed. As I continue to heal more from the surgery, I feel better about my body, my clothes fit better and I even have more energy. I personally feel it is important to care for one's body, and I know that Dr. Dastoury, after careful consultation, can, and will, assist patients in making good decisions about their bodies and health for future years.

Dr. Dastoury has my business as long as he continues to work in Colorado. I have received my Botox from him on a regular basis for many years, a small ‘mommy makeover’ several years ago, a breast augmentation (remove/replace) a few years ago, and 3 months ago I had an upper blepharoplasty which I had been wanting and considering for many years. I am a 49 year old mom of 16 year old twins. I think I’ve aged reasonably well, so my needs are not dramatic, but still a very big deal to me. What I want in my doctor is someone who is realistic with me and honest and real; someone who listens to ‘my’ thoughts on ‘my’ body, and doesn’t have thoughts of their own ‘for’ me based on their preconceived vision of what is beautiful and appropriate. What I would NEVER want, is someone who I can sense just wants business. Dr. Dastoury is everything I would hope for in my plastic surgeon. He is thorough, listens to me and appreciates and respects my timetable. For example, I talked about the upper blepharoplasty for several years before being ready for it. He was respectful of that and never rushed that process whatsoever. Botox: Dr. Dastoury is VERY overqualified to be doing Botox injections, but still takes the time to do them for his clients. He is a pro. Mommy makeover: this is the only time I have ever received filler. I was a bit nervous about lip filler specifically as I don’t want to ever look obviously filled and people tend to look at lips. He knew this, of course, and the result was so tasteful and beautiful. Not remotely fake or overdone. Just what I had asked for. I absolutely loved it!!! He is able to put the filler in the appropriate place for your mouth shape and the result was absolute perfection. This just reminded me that I need to do that again!😊 Breast remove/replace: Dr. Dastoury is a doctor who respects and considers the natural size of your breast pocket. He won’t do a surgery that will harm the integrity of your body. This is something I find to be most professional in this particular field. He absolutely cares about the individual patient’s health. Upper blepharoplasty: I have long been aware of my hooded eyes. I wasn’t always put off by them as they do tend to be some people’s ’character’, like some actors. Their hooded eyes make them ‘them’. That was my fear…losing something that made me ‘me’. Dr. Dastoury told me to think of it like having the eyes you had 10-20 years ago. I went back to prior pictures and agreed I had a more open look to my eyes. I was nervous, but prepared to make the change. He was masterful. My results are perfect to me. I have no visible scarring after only just over 3 months. Much of that is following his instruction of post care and the product he sends you with to use is top of the line scar cream. I used a local anesthesia for this surgery and was most happy with that. This surgery was 100% worth every penny. The eyes can become aged-looking not by way of wrinkles as much as life’s disappointments and sadness weighing down your lids. The upper blepharoplasty had a way of creating that youthful, ‘open to life’s journey’ look again. I am beyond pleased. I am so grateful for Dr. Dastoury and the fact that he is HIGHLY qualified and has the schooling and certifications he has to back his experience. He came to Colorado from California and we are Lucky to have his professionalism and experience here now!!!

Dear Dr Dastoury, and the entire Modern Surgical Team, I wanted to write this letter to personally thank you, and so others like me can experience the artistry and skills that Dr Dastoury and his Modern Surgical Team bring to the table. I am a 66-year-old male that has lived with an abdominal deformity and surgical scar since I was 4 years old. It has always been a source of embarrassment and at times a lack of confidence over the years of my life. I grew up in a beach town, so I was surrounded by pools and beaches. They have been, and still are a big part of my life, even with my scar issue. People, and especially young children are curious, and would stare, or ask me what happened? It was a constant reminder. Fast forward 60+ years. Dr Dastoury and his wonderful team did such a beautiful job on my wife’s breast enhancement. Her experience at Modern Surgical, and the level of care that she received, and what I witnessed, was nothing short of amazing. A year later while attending one of the “Modern Surgical Ambassador Thank You Dinners,” I asked Dr “D” on the side if there were any solutions to revising my scar? He encouraged me to come into his office and do a free evaluation. I took him up on his offer and he determined that it was possible to give me real dramatic change, and it was affordable! Being very cautious, I thought about the risks, versus the rewards for several months before making my decision to go ahead with the surgery. Dr Dastoury conducted my surgery, and throughout the entire post-surgery process, and my journey of healing over the many months to come, he provided me with excellent care. He was extremely engaged in getting me whole and getting me the look we had hoped for. He went way beyond what I consider normal doctors care. The entire Modern Surgical team has been so kind and caring and conducted themselves in such a professional manner. I could not be happier with my outcome! I look back and I think of all the years I have lived with this deformity. I am so happy I was led to Dr Dastoury so he could do his artistry and make me whole again. I am so excited to go to pools, beaches, and the gym to show off my new body. There is only one big problem!!…Now I want to travel all the time to take my shirt off. The surgery was a true value compared to what our new travel budget $$$ is costing…lol This decision has changed my life for the better. I am so happy I did it! It’s been a real journey, but I never felt alone since the Modern Surgical Team had my back. If asked, YES, I would do the surgery again!
