Min's Foot Massage of Arvada

Please read all!! The massage itself was pretty good, you definitely get what you pay for. But if you're tight on money and nothing else is open as late, this place is a good way to feel like you're pampering yourself. The issue is not the massage, it was at the end when I was paying. They bully you and guilt you into tipping more. I bought two $45 packages, for me and my husband. At the end she asked how much to tip and I said $10 each. That is over 20% for both. She literally stopped and turned to me and said, "I don't understand, did you not like?" And had me look at the handwritten sign next to the register. The poorly written sign said "$15 for good, $20 for great, and I think $30 for awesome" or something like that. It felt gross and pushy. I understand when someone works primarily for tips, and I understand don't go out if you can't afford to tip, but are you not paying your employees enough? You want me to tip 50-75% of my experience? If I bought the more expensive package I would understand. Also, even if you aren't happy about it, how dare you say something out loud! I worked customer service for 15 years and got plenty of tips I wasn't thrilled with. It is extremely unprofessional. And again, I was tipping OVER 20%! But I didn't say anything because it was 9:30 at night and it was extremely uncomfortable and I just wanted to get out of there. I couldn't even enjoy the after spa relaxing feeling after this because of being guilt tripped. Genuinely the only thing my husband and I spoke about on the way home. Not the joys of the massage, not how nice our experience was, just how uncomfortable the paying experience made us feel.

I love Min's. My husband and I go here fairly often. It's affordable and a communal space, but it's still relaxing. Min is always very nice and I've never had a problem with any staff. A great place for a massage that won't break the bank.

They do good work for a great price… saw them both during pregnancy and postpartum. Those complaining about the tipping and relative lack of customization probably haven’t been to a chinese massage spot before (they take a less personalized and more routine approach than western massage). Given how much cheaper their rates are than most western massage therapists, go ahead and give them the “excellent” tip rate!

Got a 75 minute from the owner herself. I've been going to Chinese reflexology foot spas for over 20 years, they are very prevalent in my hometown. I was so thankful to find a real reflexology place in Arvada. She gave a wonderful massage and was very good about keeping lighter pressure in injured areas. Left feeling amazing and relaxed

I would not recommend this experience. The male massage therapist was rude and unkind, which made an already vulnerable situation uncomfortable. When receiving a massage, you expect professionalism, compassion, and respect—none of which were present.
