Pur Artistry Japanese Head Spa DTC

Today I had my first ever Japanese Head Spa treatment. I booked for a deluxe Spa and it was PHENOMENAL!!!! I had a lady by the name of V and she was amazing!! She gave such a royal treatment and she educated on my scalp heath and the overall experience since it was my first time. After the treatment they give fresh fruit, Madeline and water it was so nice. This will be a monthly thing for me. Thank you V for your phenomenal service and I will book for next month.

I loved the whole experience. Judy and Orange were so friendly and amazing from the moment when my friend and I walked through the door. I had Judy and she was so sweet and made the experience so magical. They did a great job in explaining the whole process including the scalp assessment. It was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had in a long time.

I got the deluxe head spa service as a gift from my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint! My technicians name was May and she was lovely. First, she did the scalp analysis to establish a baseline. Then, you go into the serene cute changing area to change into your cute silk robe outfit and get escorted into a private spa treatment room. May put me to sleep several times because it was so relaxing between the head/neck/shoulder massage, the head tickle tool, and the conditioning. After the treatment, you go back to change and to the skin analysis section again to get blow dried and analyzed again. You even get complimentary cookie, water, and fruit! My hair smells great, feels super soft, and I feel super relaxed. Can't wait to come back!!

I had a great experience at Pur Artistry. I went on a Monday morning at 10am for an essential head spa. I was the only customer at the time. The place is clean, quiet and relaxing. They start off by having you choose an essential oil fragrance. I chose lavender. Then she showed me to the changing room, here they have lockers for your belongings and provide a nice silky robe. She did begin the service in a room big enough to fit 4 others. Right after she started someone came and told her we should not be in that room because there was a group of 4 coming soon. So, that was a little bummer, right when I started relaxing having to get up and move. However, the rest of the service was amazing. The scalp scrub and massage was great. She included a quick neck, shoulder and foot massage. My hair feels light and silky. At the end they provide a nice snack with fruit, cookie and water. They did charge extra because I have long hair.

I have so much great to say about the hair and scalp service - WOW! Such a pampering and relaxing experience. Pros: - They use a microscope to evaluate the scalp before and after the treatment - and I saw an unbelievable difference in the cleanliness and health of my scalp when the service was completed. - The service is wonderful and relaxing. I really enjoyed the "hair play" and water halo. - I loved how thorough the wash was. My scalp definitely needed it! - My hair is the softest and feels the healthiest is ever been. - They have a really beautiful location. It's thoughtfully decorated and has a luxurious aesthetic. Things to note: - The scalp treatment room has two spots for two clients at a time. The room is dark, and I started my service in the middle of another customer's treatment; and another customer started their treatment midway through my session. There's a lot of different noises during this transition time which kind of took from the experience. - Some of the scalp treatment is ... less than gentle. I personally really liked the more aggressive approach, as it felt like it was super effective, but you should tell them to go easy ahead of time if you've got a sensitive scalp. Unfortunate Things - I had an appointment booked at 2, was called earlier in the day and was told that the water would be off and was asked to push my appointment to 2:30. No problem there - however my appointment didn't actually begin until 3:00. While it didn't impact the rest of my day too much, I didn't feel like my time was respected. - There was no one at the reception desk when I arrived, and as a first time customer, it was really awkward sitting there waiting, especially when the appointment started so late. I didn't know if I should continue to sit there, or if I should have called someone. Overall, I enjoyed the service, however a few things made me feel that it wasn't worth the cost (equal to a body massage). With a price tag like that - one should definitely have a private experience.
