This is the only place that offers nitrous. Therefore, it is the only place I can sit through an entire tattoo removal session. They also have a little bookstore in the front with the best selections!

Make sure to ask for Megan!!! She took great care of me with the service she provided as well as with her kindness and bedside manner. BALD is super organized and a cool creative solution for people who might be nervous or sensitive with waxing. They offered pain reliever and nitrous, which was a first for me in this type of setting. The concept is brilliant and Megan is wonderful. I never want to go anywhere else!

Firstly, the vibe is immaculate. A functioning bookstore within a health and wellness establishment is genius! Second, I had the tattoo removal with nitrous for added ease of anxiety which is worth it because well. . .. Painful, yes, but the staff lets you take everything at your own pace as well. This compounds the relaxation state you can put your mind in. My esthetician Megan was a breath of fresh air who made sure I stayed calm and distracted with fun banter during the procedure. She was quick and accurate, explained the process as she went along, and most importantly she was compassionate to the fact tattoo removal can sometimes be a very embarrassing or confusing experience for the patient. Megan was beyond kind and knowledgeable and I'm sure she embodies the work ethic of all the employees at BALD. 10/10 Would go again
