Love Nikelle and she has been really great an attentive. The space is really clean and comfortable. Everyone who works here is also incredibly kind . But most importantly, I have seen great results after my first 2months of being a client.

I hope anyone considering going to this med spa reads my story, and seriously reconsiders. I’m sharing my personal experience with Accelerated Aesthetics. Two months before my wedding, I purchased a half-year treatment plan and was genuinely excited to start. During the initial consultation, I was “sold” on their package-based plans and how’s it’s individualized and tailored to my needs, however I was not given any outline of my treatment plan and had to follow up multiple times just to get basic information. Meanwhile, the financing options were provided immediately with a card provided to set up during our consult. The package cost $2,772 for four sessions, which comes out to about $693 per session. Because the price felt so high, my fiancé called to politely ask if any discount was possible. We were told that certain products were being “specially” ordered just for me and that the “owners” special expertise was the reason pricing could not be adjusted. However, the treatments in my plan seemed to be standard services that any med spa would already have supplies for. As well as owners expertise… well she only preformed 2 out of my 4 services herself. One of the items in my plan included an AquaJet facial which was part of the total cost. I was shocked to see Accelerated Aesthetics advertising on socia media promotions for an AquaJet facial for only $75, as shown in the screen shot I’ve attached. The same treatment in my “specialized” plan had cost me significantly more. Three days before my wedding, in typical wedding week chaos, I had missed my AquaJet Facial appt. When I explained how close it was to my wedding, I was given no option to reschedule and shown no empathy from the team. That experience ultimately led me to request a refund for my remaining session. Afterwards, they blatantly ignoring mine and my fiancé’s repeated calls for weeks. The owner has never called us back or spoke to us from then on. Finally, I was emailed a few weeks later by Billing Specialist and was told that their policy does not allow refunds, even for services not yet performed. While I understood that policy when I signed the agreement, I still believe consumers should have the option to receive their money back for services they have not received, especially when they are unhappy with the experience. With my wedding being days away, I was able to get an apt at JEM Med Spa in Elmhurst for my facial. The difference in care and communication was night and day, and I finally felt like I was being treating with respect and transparency. Due to not being able to get a refund for my last service, I end up returning to complete my final treatment. This was performed by another provider, and she was amazing. She was kind, professional, and attentive. But unfortunately, the overall experience was so poor I would never recommend this place to anyone. Lack of customer care, lack of transparency with services and credibility with the cost of them. This was the worst spa I’ve ever worked with.

Accelerated Aesthetics is the only skincare brand that has ever worked for me. I have never seen positive results from any skin care routine before trying this brand out and I am so glad I did. 🙌 Their new salon in Elmhurst is beautiful and plays into the *aesthetic* in their name. Nikelle and her staff are professional, welcoming, and hospitable, which makes the salon feel all the more warm and inviting. I just finished my first Brazilian laser hair removal session and I am happy with how quickly it went. It wasn't entirely painless but it was fast and not nearly as painful as I had imagined it to be. I would take this over waxing any day. Try the aqua jet facial and the chemical peel as well, the results are out of this world. They have promotions often so look out for those 👀 I can't wait to see what promotions they will be offering for the holiday season coming up! ✨

If you’re considering this place-DON’T. I paid $200 for a “virtual consultation” that was so rushed it barely qualified as a conversation. I stupidly went through with booking and dropped $1,000 on Botox, and the results were beyond disastrous. My eyebrows are uneven, my face has zero improvement, and after two full weeks, it still moves exactly the same as before. It’s like nothing was done at all, except now I’m out a grand and stuck with a look I’m embarrassed by. I’m not posting this under the name I used for the appointment because I genuinely don’t trust the studio after the experience I had. That’s how uncomfortable this left me. The front desk girls were genuinely sweet—but that’s where the positives end. If you value your face, your money, or your sanity, avoid this place completely. I wish someone had warned me.

My very first time having laser hair removal and it’s something I wish I would have done earlier in my life! I was a bit nervous but Nikelle took her time to explain the process and how the outcomes would be. She also took the time to talk to me about the other procedures she offers here. You can really tell she has pride in her work. My next treatment will be the VI peel! :)
