Atlanta Dental Spa - Buckhead

I recently got my composite bonding done here and I am in love with my new smile. I asked for something REALISTIC… nothing overly white or fake-looking… and Dr. Mora delivered perfectly. My teeth look natural, clean, and like an enhanced version of my real smile. I hated my “before,” so I really don’t have pictures… but just know the work they did is amazing. I went from never smiling to smiling in every single photo now. That alone says everything. I specifically saw Dr. Mora and his assistant A’Janae, and they were both incredible. They explained everything clearly… made the process easy… and genuinely cared about my comfort. A’Janae even texted me afterward just to check in and see how I was liking everything… that meant so much. The financial coordinator also sat down with me and walked me through everything in a way that actually made sense. I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name, but she knows who she is… and let’s just say I dropped a bag RIGHT then 😂 because she made everything feel clear and stress-free. And the crazy part? These aren’t even my porcelain finals yet… these are composites. Part of me is like “dang, I should’ve gone porcelain from the jump” 😭 but honestly I’m glad I didn’t because the composites helped me figure out exactly what I want for my final porcelain set. I’m also adding a close-up photo so you can see how natural the composite bonding looks… the results truly speak for themselves. The place itself is also so cute inside. It feels clean, modern, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The whole team at Atlanta Dental Spa makes you feel informed, taken care of, and confident from start to finish. I truly couldn’t be happier. 10/10 experience.

I used to absolutely hate the dentist, I avoided going for almost 12 years because of childhood trauma. But within this past year, Atlanta Dental Spa completely changed that. From root canals to fillings to implants, Dr. Mora and the team not only made every visit comfortable, they made me actually love going to the dentist. On top of that, they helped me fully close the gaps in my midline just in time for my wedding, so I can feel confident and photogenic in every picture. They did exactly what they said they would, and the results exceeded every expectation. I can’t recommend them enough!

This dental office is truly excellent, compassionate, caring and professional from start to finish. The dental hygienist, Amber does an amazing job cleaning your teeth. She is extremely thorough and leaves your teeth feeling brand new and sparkling clean. Dr. Mora is very knowledgeable and takes the time to carefully examine your teeth. He clearly explains his recommendations and makes sure you understand all your options, which I really appreciate. I have also been a patient of Dr. Creasman and Dr. Currie who are excellent and seasoned Dentist, – they shifted to a different location, but I would recommend them too. I would recommend this office at Buckhead or any of the Atlanta dental locations- and would trust any dental doctor or hygienist here as a provider. Everyone is excellent, from the reception staff to the clinical team. An outstanding experience overall. You are not going to get crap dental care at any Atlanta Dental Spa locations- theses doctors have the knowledge and education from good schools not like other chains dental groups who don’t know what they are doing and have subpar education and skills.

I’m writing this review to document my experience so others can make an informed decision. I initially reached out after seeing online and on the website that the membership was $39/month. The site instructed patients to come in or text the office for further questions, which I did. Via text message, I asked how to start the membership and specifically said I wanted to come in for a teeth cleaning. I asked whether I just paid $39/month. I was told I needed to pay $117 upfront, then start paying $39/month. I then clearly confirmed in writing: “Just to make sure, the $117 covers a teeth cleaning, correct?” I was told yes via text message. Based on that confirmation, I asked about availability, was offered a Wednesday appointment, and scheduled it. When I arrived, the staff was friendly. X-rays were taken, and I was told everything looked good. I explained my vision: that today I was there for a cleaning, and in the future I’d be interested in Invisalign and other services. After reviewing my x-rays, I was brought back in with a doctor and told that although my teeth were good, I needed a deep periodontal cleaning totaling $1,400. I immediately stated that this was not what I was told and that I had been informed I was paying $117 for a cleaning. I was then told the $117 was “just for the membership” and that I would also owe the $1,400, but that it was okay because they had payment plans. When I asked about the payment plans, another staff member was brought in who stated that there are no in-office payment plans, and that I would need to try to take out outside financing/credit instead. At this point, I explained that multiple staff members were now giving conflicting information, and that I had text messages confirming what I was originally told. I began recording the conversation. I was told, “We’re so sorry, these mistakes happen sometimes.” After leaving and contacting support to cancel the membership, I was then told I owed an additional $221, a charge that was never disclosed or authorized. I have documentation of everything stated above. Unfortunately, the pricing, membership benefits, and payment options were not presented consistently or transparently, and I am now disputing the charges. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing, confirming total costs before arriving, and asking very detailed questions before agreeing to any services here.

Dr Currie and staff are wonderful. I was treated with kindness and compassion. Patient education is huge to have the best outcomes and they nailed it. Implants are not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Don’t go for the price, get quality here. Dr Currie even called me after closing time to check on me.
