Semper Laser

It was really quick and neat. It was my first time too. I had an initial consultation with Jennifer, she was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Gia attended to me, she is a really nice and warm person. Booking a session is also a breeze!

I had my laser hair removal at Semper and I’m so happy with the result! The staff were super friendly and explained everything clearly. My hair grows back much slower now and it’s so nice not having to shave all the time. The place is very clean and cozy. Highly recommend Semper if you want soft, hair-free skin!

Let me start by saying the technicians at Semper are incredible. Truly. They are kind, professional, and the only reason I made it through all 12 sessions. I started at the Evanston location and later transferred to Ashland, and at both locations the techs were the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience. However, the scheduling and front desk experience completely overshadowed everything else. When I transferred locations, I was forced to skip nearly two months in the middle of my treatment. Two months. In the middle of a time-sensitive laser package. There was no flexibility, no accommodation, and no real effort to help bridge the gap. Trying to reschedule an appointment is almost impossible. If you get sick? Too bad. Have an emergency? Be prepared to wait another 6 to 8 weeks. The lack of flexibility is shocking for a service that requires consistency to be effective. On top of that, the front desk staff is extremely difficult to get a hold of. Calls go unanswered, and when you do connect with someone, the response is rigid and unhelpful. There’s zero sense of urgency or customer care. I completed all 12 sessions, but the only positive takeaway from the entire experience was the technicians themselves. They deserve recognition. Unfortunately, the operational side of this business makes the process unnecessarily stressful.

Just moved to Chicago (transferred from Orlando) and had such a welcoming experience. It was super quick and the setting was perfect - didn’t hurt at all. Gia was THE BEST! Made me feel so comfortable and so nice to talk with. Definitely made the experience so comfortable.

What got me in the door was the word FREE! Amazingly affordable of course with that word in mind. The procedure was painless and over so quickly I was flabbergasted at the professionalism and the etiquette. Everything was well explained and very thoroughly gone through. Definitely going back for more treatment
