The Chicago Dental Studio, West Loop

I had a great first experience here! The hygienist was extremely thorough and mindful of my pain. She was very caring, which I appreciate. I will definitely continue coming here for my dental care. The front desk is kind upon entering, and the studio is extremely clean!

Had the BEST experience at the Chicago Dental Studio in West Loop!!! Like many, I dread visiting the dentist for routine cleanings, but my experience here was stellar (and now, my teeth are too!). From start to finish, I felt taken care of by the entire team and was highly impressed by their warmth, transparency (re: insurance pricing), and keen insights on my dental health. Thank you to the wonderful Mel, Jacinta, and Dr. Bosworth for all your hard work and professionalism - I look forward to coming back!

Who actually wants to go to the dentist? I sure don’t — but Chicago Dental Studio (West Loop, and all of the locations) have a vibe I dig. Clean, upbeat, and modern with killer tunes, spa-like touches, and best of technology. You even get to pick your amenities while you’re sitting in the comfy chair, eye masks, hydrating hand mits etc…. I’m a sucker for those glowy lights too! The staff is super friendly, sharp, and actually makes you feel at ease. Honestly, I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Had a great exp getting my free invisalign consult with Dr. Bosworth, who explained everything so patiently to me tooth by tooth, and the dental assistant Katie was also really sweet and considerate throughout the process. Awesome team and excited to potentially go through the treatment here!

TLDR: If you're wealthy, you're set. Just don't expect transparency on bills. Or any thanks for your loyalty. I'm sad :[ I'm a loyal customer who has been getting everything from Invisalign to teeth cleanings for the better part of about 4 years. Thankfully, due to having decent insurance, I could somehow afford any of that. I used to go to the location on Lawrence, and then, I moved to this West Loop location. The staff is very talented, and many of them are extremely kind and wonderful people. They call and text for appointment confirmations, which is very convenient. There is a lot of good that this place offers. This review pertains mainly to the financial aspects and their health communication literacy. For whatever reason, they cannot be transparent when it comes to bill breakdown. I cannot tell you how many times I've asked for clarification and received none. Recently, I asked about lab results and whether or not I'd be charged and received no follow-up information. It's almost like they're trained to avoid cost conversation. Yes, they give you the high-end vs. low-end bill assessment, but it's not helpful. Instead of telling me that I might be spending over $200 sending lab results to the University of Iowa on an abscess from the inside of my mouth, they gave me a little sheet of paper telling me that I might incur extra fees. Then, I received this in the mail, even after I had asked them in writing and in person. What's even more irritating, is that they asked me to confirm my appointment a week in advance by harass calling me and texting me while I'm at work, only to cancel the day of my appointment. Then, they weirdly thought they needed to clarify that I wouldn't have to pay any fees for that change... I'm sure they were confused...but in what world. They should pay me for their mistake. So, I won't be returning. My wallet will thank me, as I've compared bills with other people's dentists, and these are obscene. I just thought I paid for quality and kindness... Not deceit and nonsense.
