I had a very pleasant experience at Modern Dentistry! From the moment I went in, I was treated very well and staff were so helpful and understanding. Dr. Tran was professional and went over and above to listen and accommodate me. Ja’liyah did such a great job doing X-rays. Ruben, the dental hygienist was so wonderful in explaining things and answering questions. All of the staff were a team that worked together so well. I would encourage anyone to have their dental needs met in such a great dental practice.

I never leave reviews much less negative reviews, but our experience with this dental office has been an nightmare and worth sharing so others know what to expect. From the very beginning, my fiancé has dealt with ongoing issues throughout his treatment process. Multiple appointments were affected because the office was not properly prepared, and on several occasions the necessary equipment or pieces required for his procedure were either incorrect or unavailable. This caused repeated delays, unnecessary rescheduling, and added stress during what should have been a straightforward treatment plan. We trusted this office with an important dental procedure and expected a higher level of preparation, coordination, and patient care. We will not be returning nor recommending anyone to go to this office.

I visited the office last week for the first time and let me tell you they did not disappoint! The young man at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. Ba’Niya performed the most thorough x-ray exam I’ve ever had in my life all while being so personable and friendly. Rubin was my hygienist. He was experienced, inviting and knowledgeable. You can tell he really loves his career and helping people. Dr. Tra was so kind, knowledgeable and professional! Her smile and warm presence was infectious! Just switched over to Baton Rouge Modern Dentistry because I wanted to take my dental care to somewhere I thought it would be better than where I came from . I just want to say that my expectations were too low for the services that were provided to me. I just want to say if I could’ve had complete control over my dental care as a teen , I would have saved myself the headache and just came to BRMD. Side-note , all the DA’s there were amazing . Specifically, Jaliyah was amazing . She was so nice and gentle when handling my teeth. It was a breath of fresh air hearing such punctuality and professionalism from the whole team.

Very organized and welcoming. The staff makes a dental visit as pleasant as possible, explaining everything as they go. Ruben, the RDH is excellent- very attentive to detail, explains everything and welcomes questions. The atmosphere is relaxed and calming. Cassie (OA) was also great, putting patients immediately at ease. Dr. Helen Tran is very knowledgeable, and informative as well as a calming demeanor
