He’s the Nicest, very Knowledgeable and always has the Best plan of Action. I will not forget the office staff, TOP TIER‼️ I Love My Corkern Dental Family..

From the minute I walked in the door and was facing a beautiful saltwater aquarium until I paid for my visit at the front desk, it was an extremely positive visit. Dr. Corkern as well as his assistant are very lovely people. Dr. Corkern is confident without being cocky, extremely friendly without being fake and set up a treatment plan for me that’s very affordable. We started the treatment plan with the reason I was there, to get Botox for my TMJ pain. I’ve gotten the injections for years but needed a new provider after moving back to Louisiana. I’d recommend him very highly! It has often been said that the front desk staff can make or break a dentist or doctor. Dr. Corkern’s front desk staff is super friendly and very efficient. Painless, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly are just a few positive words to describe my visit.

Very unfortunate that at one point I did give 5 stars however, They fine you $50 for rescheduling an appointment and do not disclose the policy. Does not matter whose end it’s on. I was running 10 min behind and called to let them know, I was asked to turn around and go home. Then I got the flu. No one at any point stated if you do this you will be fined. I called and explained and was told no this is policy. Brought up a reschedule instance from over a year ago, which is outrageous. Doesn’t matter that I was never informed and doesn’t matter that one miss was because I was asked to not show up, had I known I would have just arrived or showed up sick. You try to be courteous and get taken advantage of. Was not willing to do anything about it, will not be returning. Edit to reply: that is absolutely incorrect, 4 times in one year? we only have an appt every six months. Maybe in 4 years which is how long I’ve been going here. So sad what money does to people. I was asked to not show up which leaves no room to give a notice. The other time there was notice. Never once was any appt not rescheduled. So this 2 “free” cancellations did not happen then as both times I rescheduled and one was not even my decision. The policy was never disclosed so if there is a fine print that you sign, then you are asked to reschedule, and then have that count as a cancellation.. that is shady. If you state there is a policy your people sign, ok, but it’s certainly never explained and if someone called to reschedule you sure as hell should have the courtesy to speak to them and let them know in person not just text them you have a $50 bill. Then have no empathy and just state yes thats policy. Next time let your paying customers know a policy. I would have showed up. Not encourage them to reschedule and then bill them. And I’d be happy to provide my appointment confirmations for the only two I had in 2025 which I attended. Jan if the visit Im referring to in which we are also in a new year.

I was a patient of Dr Foster's & "inherited" Dr Corkern when Dr Foster retired. I feel Dr Corkern is aggressive with my teeth and lacks bedside manner, but I continued to go to the office because I absolutely love Ebony, shes the genuinely the best hygienist Ive ever had. Today when I showed up early for my appointment **that I'd scheduled with Ebony 6 months ago*** I was told that it was cancelled. I stated that Ive been coming to that office for over 10 years, Ive never missed an appointment (even when Id relocated to Lake Charles for 3 years-I still made every appointment) I knew I had an appointment today, Im here for my appointment today, I scheduled it 6 months ago-why would your office cancel my appointment? I was told because I hadn't answered my phone when the office did a confirmation call, it was cancelled-that it's their policy & Dr Corkern is really "cracking down" on appointment confirmation calls.

I am really amazed by the work of this clinic. The lady also had two teeth repaired here. She is very sensitive to the treatment and does not feel any pain at all. I want to thank this doctor for his skills and he is excellent. Thank you for this excellent treatment. ✅
