I want to thank Dr. R. King and his team for the amazing care I received at the hospital. From the time I entered the hospital until I was released I received great care from Pre-op (Jess), Dr. King, OR Team, and the Nurses and Staff on the 9th floor. Everyone was kind and helpful during a stressful time for myself. Thank you

After having my 1st heart attack I was transfered to Meriter hospital. From the moment I arrived in the ER to my hug from nurse Izzi in leaving I couldn't have asked for better. Special mentions to nurse Delaney who checked on me every 15 minutes for hours into the night after my procedure with such kindness and patience. To nurse Alicia and nurse Izzi not forgetting nurse Dawn. Of course thanks to the Dr. Lewis and the surgery team who did a fantastic job. Thankful also to the many that were directly or inderectly involved in my care. And I might add, what a beautiful view from my 11th floor windows. Yes I was awake for the sunrise 🌅 Much thanks, Mike

I just received a bill directly from Meriter for $997 and assumed they did not charge my insurance. I called the billing department to inquire and they told me they have "no record of this." The message/bill came directly from Meriter, has my name, date of visit, and other correct/identifying information. How are you going to charge me for something that you have no record of? The woman on the phone was very kind but unfortunately not helpful. She basically told me to sit tight and see what happens.

My own experience here was completely mismanaged and neglectful. They have inadequate and unsafe staffing levels to barely handle a normal delivery - let alone if a curve ball hits your delivery. Now my own sister in law is dealing with staffing issues, miscommunication, and lack of care with her pregnancy/delivery. These patterns do not suggest quality or safe healthcare.

I was sent to unity point to check for a placenta acreta , I was confirmed to not have one however I was admitted for preeclampsia, one of the Social workers helped set up a ride through my insurance all the way from Illinois . My home for the rest of the two and a half weeks was unity point . They were amazing, especially the social worker Angela . She knew we had been put in a rough situation and had to leave a lot of things behind , she helped us acquire two pack and plays for our twins and helped me switch my insurance to Wisconsin. the NICU gave us car seats . They were so informational about everything, from every stick and poke to helping me understand what my c section would be like . I genuinely don’t think I would have been as comfortable anywhere else . The NICU nurse were so sweet . I want to thank every staff on the antepartum , postpartum and NICU there for making my experience so nice , it was my first major surgery and I was terrified. They really helped me with that .
