Ivy Hydration Bar

I’d love to say I had a good experience, but it was anything but. As a nurse, I understand sometimes a patients veins can be challenging, which is why you take your time. The first stick resulted in blowing my vein. The 2nd stick (lower on the same arm) resulted in infiltration, causing swelling and pain of the surrounding area. I had to call her back and let her know it was incredibly painful. The IV was then removed. She finally got it to take in my other arm (3rd times a charm I guess). What troubles me is after two sticks, she wasn’t paying attention to the fact the IV wasn’t working properly and there was no guidance given to me about how to handle the swelling and bruising in the original arm. I never told her I was a nurse, so this is very poor consultation by someone in this profession. This was my first time even doing IV therapy and I can honestly say I’m not sure I’d do it again and I certainly cannot recommend this business after my experience today.

I can not recommend this place enough! The owner Kate and her staff have created such a cool comfortable space dedicated and focused on self- nurture and self-care. I have enjoyed the benefits of some of their offerings and loved it. At 54 years old the lines on my forehead and deep 11 lines between my brows needed some serious "self-care"! I went to Ivy Therapy & Hydration Bar for botox treatments and was so happy with the outcome! I've been enjoying going without bangs and not looking iritated all the time! I'll be back for more self care and nuturing!

I highly recommend! Being 61 with a few health issues and not able to stay properly hydrated this has been a Godsend for me. Even my primary care provider has noticed the difference and approved! I purchased the membership and appreciate the savings. Staff is always attentive.

Ivy Hydration was the perfect cure for my body after traveling and needing to rehydrate! I felt so much better after my IV, and the space was so beautiful and relaxing. I loved the nurse who did my IV and I am definitely going to return the next time I’m back in town!
