Balance Chi Massage

I've been here a number of times for a foot massage and have been happy with it. This last experience for a full body was rough. The staff is nice, and I understand there is a language barrier, yet it was difficult to communicate basic needs. I expressed 4 times mid massage to go softer and slower because the pressure was hurting me. There were times I jumped and winced, yet the massage therapist didn't take note or stop. I couldn't relax and was anxious for it to end. I was disappointed I spent money to be sore and in pain the next day. Due to some good experiences, I gave it a 3.

The owners are very kind and good at what they do. Great price for what you get. Keep in mind though that English is not their primary language, so some patience is required when conducting business with them. And it's not gonna be the best massage you will ever receive. But again though it's very good for what you pay, and you can get an appointment the same day of calling in. So it's a great option if you need a massage on a short notice, which is what happened with me. Another massage facility canceled on me day of my appointment, but I was able to find Balance Chi which was able to take me in same day. Very grateful for them.

I never really leave reviews but I have to here. Amazing experience. Great price, great massage (and I have been to multiple places here in Madison and around trying to find a good place since moving here). They asked about pressure, where I was sore and followed up throughout the massage to ensure I was having a great experience and the pressure was good. Super polite and friendly. Will be a returning customer!

Was experiencing upper back & neck pain so I decided to walk in & ask about a chair massage. I got in immediately and that 15 minute chair massage was exactly what I needed. Ill most definitely return!
